For everyone who is wondering how TTA got into the house/wasn't noticed by J.

I think that TTA is the person who gave J the anonymous tip on where Brian was staying and he just hid in a room waiting for J to show up so he could film him.

At least I know that I am not crazy, I swore I saw something between J's legs when he fell. Thought the audio is bothering me, not the Alex Brian stuff, but the audio channels. They're as if there was two people, the filmer & the person speaking, whom moves from the right to behind the camera. Also, it is as if TTA was rushed, like he got spooked. Who knows, TTA could have been hiding out there.

I dunno, I think it would be cool if TTA was the slender man. Thus, I could say I cyber-winked at him. 'Cause, you gotta admit, TTA does have a sexy voice

But see, listen, the voice is all distorted, yet the video is at normal speed, and, well, not distorted. Personally, I'm going to take that as a clue that TTA is, at the very least, not human, if not SM himself.

This is getting veeeery interesting.

I also think that the creators are cutting down on the player to character interactivity. I messaged TTA, but even now he has not responded. Ah well, he's still my favourite character in this thing if he is SM. If not, he's my second favourite.

I want to add my vote to the camp that TTA is definitely a very real, corporeal human being. I think this video basically proves it, honestly. SM doesn't need a video camera and wouldn't care that much.

IMO, we are dealing with 2 separate threads here. I think there's ample evidence that there was some sort of real SM-related phenomenon. And, while it's certainly possible that phenomenon has a prosaic explanation (e.g. it's a hoax), the evidence available points to some sort of paranormal presence.

In a very related but also separate vein, we have this entity, TTA. This entity seems to be entirely separate from SM. I say this because they have a different M.O., different goals, which so far suggest to me a (very human) agent acting for reasons as yet unknown.

My point is: there are two different things going on here; SM and TTA. I think if we knew the true relationship between the two of them and what their different goals were, we would understand Marble Hornets.

So let's try and guess what TTA has in mind. A few interesting thoughts (that don't necessarily lead anywhere):

1) The first set of TTA videos started fairly early in J's discovery process, and were cryptic and weird but not especially scary. This tends to make me think that whatever TTA's goals were (at least at the beginning), they weren't to scare J away from investigating. They almost seem to be urging him on.

2) There is definitely an antagonistic (or at least malevolent/mischievous) air to TTA's work, especially the later videos ("SEE YOU"). This implies that whatever TTA's goals are (especially near the end), it's not just to help J.

3) TTA seems to be willing to get personally involved, but clearly doesn't want us to know who he is. So he has some stake in the game, but he doesn't want to be found out.

4) TTA seems to be suggesting in a number of cases ("THERE WAS MORE", "WHEREIS THEARK", "LISTEN CLOSELY") that he/she is in possession of information or suspicions that J (and by extension all of us) haven't discovered yet. A logical conclusion is that TTA wants us to, or at least is intrigued by the possibility of us, discovering these things. After all if he was trying to keep it a secret why reveal anything?

5) Maybe it's just me, but TTA seems almost mischievous, as if he thinks he's playing some sort of game. Almost as if he thinks it's funny that we don't realize what's going on.

So he wants to help, but doesn't want to help. He wants to be involved, but not too involved. He's mischievous, but not downright evil. Why?

My best guesses:

TTA was somehow involved in some kind of awfulness, presumably related to the MH crew, that he wants the world to learn about but is unwilling to reveal himself. Why?

A) Because he is guilty. He was intimately involved somehow, i.e. criminally or morally, and can't bring himself to reveal the truth. This doesn't ring true to me because he doesn't seem remorseful about anything.

B) Because he is boastful. Like the villain in a comic book; he committed or orchestrated some sort of crime, and wants the world to discover it so he can brag about how awesome he is. Sort of a "Joker" mentality. I see this as possible because it explains the mild antagonism and the mischief. Or, relatedly, he isn't the villain himself, but a 3rd party who is mischievous, and thinks it would be more fun for us to figure this out the hard way then for him to just tell us. ("I know something you don't know")

C) Because he is insane. He's lucid enough to communicate with us, but for whatever private reasons, he only wants to do it in this puzzle fashion. This makes a certain amount of sense to me; it explains the mischievousness and the general air of craziness about the whole thing.

D) Because he is afraid. He knows some sort of truth, but he can't reveal it or get too involved because he thinks something awful will happen (SM will start haunting him again? The police? Worse?). This one could be possible. For example, maybe SM was haunting him (or someone he knows), and that stopped for some reason (the person died?), and now SM is haunting J, and TTA cares enough to warn J, but doesn't want SM to start haunting *him* (TTA). This would point toward it being Brian/Tim/Sarah or maybe even Alex.

Okay, after reading the thread on Addition, I shall rescind my argument. The audio was J's voice, not TTA's.

Okay, so it's not likely that TTA is the slender man. But beyond that I don't really have any clues that weren't already stated.

I would be very interested to see what would come of screenshots regarding whatever it was that J presumably saw behind him during his coughing fit.

hey....been researching Marble Hornets for a fairly long time...as well as TotheArk...i made a forum to organize all of my notes...join up and take a look...its www.silentheretic.forumwise.com take a look under the analysis of TotheArk...all my notes are there....they may be hard to read since they were scanned papers...but since you all can discern words from blurry images from a video camera on youtube...i think youall can read it fine...hey..thanks for all your help! (oh yea...uh...my page like just got started....so there aint much there.....take a look at my notes and tell me everything you guys think...i hav a feeling i may be on to something)
