Well that's the formation from the teaser trailer, but by that logic, the big daddy plushie should have been there to. Either the girl in the teaser trailer is cindy or representation of who the big sister was before she turned herself into a big sister.

EDIT: read his crazy letter, he's not insane because he recognises that he may be going insane, it's all gravy.

What i notice is the white light-ish thing in the sky. It isnt clouds far as i can tell.definitely seems there might be something there but i dont know enough about photos to find out

I think it's just a defect in the picture... Who knows. I can't imagine what else it would be.

If you read the letter on Mark's desk, it says he took the picture this (Oct. 22 1960-whatever) morning. He found the formations. Also, I think the teaser is meant to make you think that the girl is the big sister. If you read the Game Informer article on Bioshock 2, the developers said the big sister was a little sister you freed, who ends up coming back to Rapture to rule, so to speak.

That's not what it says, it says "WHATSTAKINGSOLONGDADDYCOMEFINDME" but it's basically the same message I guess.

Whoops. That's what I meant. Lol. Thanks for the correction. Any significance you think on the lack of a "t" in the first word?

It's okay. Making mistakes is part of being human. Ha ha. Lol. Jk. Anyway, if I didn't know any better, I'd say with Mark's suspicions about Lynch, I'd say it was Fontaine playin him... But Fontaine's dead. So much mystery.

The teaser is the Big sister wanting to go home and she raises the sand Rapture showing us the extent of her telekinetic powers. =)

As for the riddle box, there are many ideas to what it could be. Some include:
A lighthouse
A seahorse(white knight)
Mark is the white knight searching for proof/his daughter
A knight's tour(chess game) where the knight moves in it's pattern on all/or to the other side of the board spelling out a phrase.

As for mark going crazy, I think it's stress and the fact that a red queen's race mostly seems hopeless and pointless to the one running it.

Anyone up for slogging through the archives with me? I want to divide up all the information Mark's got into four piles:

1. Info he got from some other source than Lynch.
2. Info he got from Lynch, and the veracity of which we don't know.
3. Info he got from Lynch, but the veracity of which we DO know, given that [TIAG]we know the BioShock storyline[/TIAG].
4. Info that we don't know yet where he got.

I want to figure out the ratio of real clues and fake clues Lynch has left him, so we can get a rough idea of how much of the rest of it we can trust.

I'm in. One question though, what is TIAG?

I just came across a bit of information. Lewis Carroll referred to HIMSELF as the White Knight. Could this be a clue to that damn 5x5?
Also, came across a poem entitled The White Knight's Song, by Lewis Carroll. The Knight asks, "Who are you aged man, and how is it you live?" The White Knight's question?
