If you were searching house at night with only a flashlight and you got tripped up by a trip wire would you not go investigate the trip wire? Also wouldn't you look carefully along your way while proceeding throughout the house looking for other booby traps while on your way.

The coughing\ashma attack had to be what brought him to his knees without any concern to him. Unless he fell to the floor from a foul stench, which would explain him opening the door to maybe let some fresh air in.


Well, we can't tell if J is looking out for booby traps after. This video couldn't really show that. It's far too dark.

Also, J does turn around after he falls. This suggests he was aware of something behind him, maybe a tripwire.

And that fall doesn't seem to be bad acting. If it is, then that's a REALLY big oversight on J's part.

It really seems like TTA could be Slender Man. As we know, TTA was filing J from the closet. And wear does visual tearing occur? That's right. In the closet.

Then again, I can't really picture Slender using a computer.

Argh! It's like we're always missing one piece of the puzzle!

Alas, if we did have that piece, it wouldn't be a puzzle anymore, would it?

I'm a fan of the booby trap idea. Since I don't really have time, I'm not going to think too deep into this; I'll just lurk for now. But if I do have something interesting, I will say.

 		Where did the trip wire idea come from? It seems quite clear he collapsed in a coughing fit while already bent over searching the closet. I have had coughing fits while sick that have caused me to bend over or have to sit down due to becoming light headed or just causing me difficulty breathing. If J was struck by a similar fit, while already bent over searching through a closet I see no reason why he wouldn't go down on all 4s.

 		agreed. To be honest, a lot of the recent theories make absolutely NO SENSE whatsoever, IMHO. booby traps, Slender MEN, no sense to me at all.

I agree too. I don't like the multiple SM theory, and I think the booby traps is just plain out of the question. Sure, J fell a bit too fast for my liking, but he did. Maybe he lost his balance. Completely plausible.

As for the turning around; regardless of where I am, if I trip or something I'll turn around to see if someone saw me. Also, ever get the feeling you're being watched? It tends to happen more often when you're doing something you're not supposed to. Like, for instance, breaking into an abandoned house. Maybe J heard something (totheark moving/breathing (if he does)).

I dunno, but he wasn't pushed, and he didn't trip over a wire. That's the kind of thing that would make J go "oh shit, look at that, a trip wire! Better film that for a few seconds!". J would film where the wire was set up, and then pocket it if it came loose.

I don't think it really matters how he fell, imo.

Exactly. If there was MEANT to be a tripwire, J would have at least hinted at one, or filmed it right out.

Now, the only way I could ever see anyone turn around and keep going as if nothing happened, was if totheark was FORCING J to continue investigating the house without making his (totheark's) presence known. Like, if he had a gun on him and he kicked him over, kind of thing. I know that makes absolutely no sense, but that's just the scene I envisioned when I read your post.

though that's normally to the side..

i guess it was just the coughing fit that made him fall..

 		There's something I want to mention, because it seems a lot of people were overlooking it before, although the conversation has moved far away from the audio at this point.

It's entirely possible (and, the way I see it, very likely) that J might not actually know that the audio track is his own, manipulated voice.
