well, I really don't know. At this point, we are kinda at a cross roads. Should we, go along with the EPWA? I mean, all of these demands... I'm not sure this is what Eva would have wanted. She was a person a peace, not kidnappings and extortion.

I hate to say this, but should we actually ASK the Jejune Institute for help? They have some power, maybe they can help Kelvin. I mean, in all honesty we never actually corresponded with the JI to get their side of the story.

Or, we could do something a bit more Meta-minded... create our own Nonchalant organization that could rival the EPWA. This would come down to, how much player interference would change/work into the story.

EDIT: So, I decided to shoot the JI an e-mail. More or less, I asked them THEIR side of the story. Because, we still really don't know that much about them. I used the alias LieutenantBaron

..though I don't know about the cartoons from the 30s and 40s.. some of that stuff was pretty racist.

I still don't trust the JI. not after the OMNI articles, the jejune goons (both at the protest and seen sneaking through Eva's window to get her teeth), and the microwave harassment.

not that i don't agree with the actions of the EPWA but i want to see what happens next with this.

I'm actually a little curious why the 'think for yourself' video was palced before the EPWA's video... surely they're not saying "think for yourselves don't listen to US"? that's be counter intuitive...

listening to the video again, and looking at the demands, i'm not entirely sure their motives are inherently hostile. Drybones said it himself that they're not sure what Kelvin is in concerns to all this. I think as Kelvin became aware of the EPWA they became aware of him.

And you do have to take a step back and see things from the EPWA's perspective at least. To them, a year into this campaign, along comes some 'yahoo' who isn't one of Eva's main friends nor a member of the Savants but has suddenly gained access to photos, video tapes, and indeed Eva's entire personal diary. What would the EPWA make of this unknown element? How could such a 'mundane' have access to these secret and personal things? things the EPWA has never until now had access to? Relics and rare artifacts from their very queen.

And the EPWA has never been the types to merely straightforwardly ask for information. Everything is round-about for them. Much like how Tom HAS to create elaborate plans and secret notes in order to save Jim the slave instead of just doing it the simple way like Huck would rather do. The demands seem to tell of a dog that has managed to catch a truck. they have him, but what to do with him?

Also, on another note, what does Beth have to do with all this? I mean, she's the one who set up the alternate map in the reconstruction. She's the one who led everyone to the memory to media tape which itself was supplied by the EPWA after they were somehow able to get it from the JI. She's connected to all this somehow. No way she's just like Kelvin, unaware of this battle between worlds, when she's shown she knows of nonchalance and the EPWA.

I donno. this all seems rash and unnecessary but before we start branching off into factions i think we should see what they plan to do with Kelvin after they learn he's not a threat and indeed a resource to help them. I don't really think they're gonna harm him (i mean, they got him a vegetarian burrito and a Mr. Pibb. that's a lot more hospitable than most captors).

Good point Everfalling. I agree, I do not think we should branch off QUITE yet, but I don't think it would hurt to try and communicated with the JI, we really haven't tried before.

Also, about the "goons" it could be entirely possible they were in front of the Institute not to hurt us, but to PROTECT them. It's not like they came to Union square as we were hanging out, hell they haven't attacked us when we have been to these meetings, such as the Oct. 16th broadcast. I'm just starting to think maybe the EPWA is more hostile than we thought.

On a side note, anyone else notice the hat that the puppet at the beginning was wearing? haha, it looks just like the one the EPWA gave me before "The Action" I don't know, kinda got a kick out of it

WOW those demands are insane, Guess the EPWA wasnt as sane as we thought, Why cant they see that Nonchanlance cannot be obtained by those who actively seek it, jeez i figured that out day one, hence why I have been lurking all this time , yes lurking for so long like a char from act one your mind forgot about coming back from the curtain to stab your very ideals of whats normal and right WOOHOO, Caffiend lives, opps sorry got off topic, hey captking did i miss much .
