Quick update time!

I've been invited to a meeting at Foundry in Shoreditch tonight at 6pm. I was also told to study this Latin quote:

Ok. So we went to the meeting. Very strange things are afoot and it looks like we're in for an exceptionally late night. Blindfoldings, beatings, hidden animal feet and death threats. A midnight rendezvous with added violence coming up.

This is certainly a freakier Friday than Jaimie Lee Curtis ever had.

For anyone in London who wants to join us at the midnight rendezvous, meeting is at Aberfeldy House, on John Ruskin street near Oval station.

Indeed it is. We went for a recce, and it looks like there's only one foot / car entrance, about 100 yards up john ruskin street.

To fill you in, the midnight event will be an interrogation of a suspected traitor with Clamamus. Turns out there's a bit of shock over this guy's name coming up and The Boss wants to check things out.

Sadly, after checking connection times at Oval, Lex and I have discovered we can't be there for the event. We've warned the powers that be about this, do you may want to check with Clamamus or Thea to see if the event will still go ahead if you want to go.

A fuller description of what transpired tonight:

The meeting did take place in The Foundry as expected, in a room called The Library. Once again, white bodysuited figures appeared and led the two of us down sone perilous steps into a gated room in the bowels of London's fashionable shoreditch.
We sat in silence, filmed by more Clamamus members, until we were instructed to remove shirts and jackets and blinfold ourselves. Another member joined us, and the three of us had our hands pulled behind our backs and ziplocked together. Then the meeting started with a bang.

A very shouty person, henceforth known as Mr Angry, voiced his displeasure in no uncertain terms. In the small, echoing, room his voice shook and reverberated as he crashed chairs against a metal box, producing sounds like thunderous gunshots. Someone, he announced, had betrayed the group. Too much information is leaking out and it is vital the group remains secret so it can continue. Nobody was above suspicion, least of all us.

He had a test. One of us was led away into a cell. Words were whispered into our ears, which we had to pronounce and the victim had to repeat. If he made a mistake he was beaten. Violently and at length. Repeatedly. Should he get it right, we were "pleasured" by some worrying form of physical contact. As the words got more complicated, the poor victim was savaged to within an inch of his life (or so it sounded) and was eventually dragged from the room.

Mr Angry was pleased with us, and set us a new task. In a nearby street there is an area of tall grass where messages from the White clad members (who seem to be called Morphs) are hidden. We had to retrieve a message and follow out the instructions exactly.

Despite this being an unfamiliar area and a pitch black one, agent lex found the box fairly quickly, but baulked at wearing a broach that appeared to be made of an owl's foot and a ruby as found in the box. There were also two bits of paper - one with a name, the other with our instructions.

We were to travel to Brick Lane, to a bar, wearing the owl foot thing. I looked amazing with it on. Thousands of girls exploded with delight at the sight of me. Anyway. We waited, supping some much needed cold beer. Lex said "it's clear we've not been followed as they'd have made contact by now", at which point a guy leant over and said "gents, finish your drinks quickly and when I leave follow me". Down in one, off we trot.

He leads us to a secluded spot, and tells us he needs the information from us. He explains the relevance on the broach, that it means we have info on a traitor and he must be dealt with. We pass the name to him. He's shocked and dismayed. It's his brother. He pleads with us to help him. Can we mediate with his boss, placate him and help keep hid brother alive? He gives us directions to the notorious Hawksmore designed Spitalfields church and a pub associated with Jack The Ripper.

As we wait to be contacted there, a beautiful young woman appears, strokes the owl foot and leads us to The Boss. He pours us wine and says nothing. In fact, he whispers into the ear of the young lady who relays comments back and forth. These two are equally shocked by the news, and want to know where the name came from. When we say, The Boss is visibly furious and says the person must be interrogated at midnight in his house. We're given the address, told they will dress us as them, and told to leave.


All in all, pretty spectacular stuff. Clamamus seem to be showing their true colours, and these are nasty shades of peuce splattered with blood. But there seems to be circles and layers to the organisation, and political wranglings between these groups. Fascinating stuff. It's a real shame not all of us could make it to the midnight event...... Breathe is continuing to show a depth of imagination and desire to push boundries that is uncommon. It's well worth getting involved in and deserves many more players.

Really glad you made, and enjoyed, it! You're actually lucky I didn't stay on to that event, as a spectacular tummy bug made itself known at about midnight and hasn't stopped since. I'm not sure if the interrogation would have been enhanced by the distant sounds of puking.
