 		The meaning of 'bone' in the bible:

"As bone signified the own of the understanding, that is, the own as to truth, and in the supreme sense the Divine truth which was the Lord's own, it was for this reason ordained as a statute of the passover that they should not break a bone of the paschal lamb; concerning which we read in Moses:--

In one house shall it be eaten thou shall not carry forth of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break a bone thereof (Exod. 12:46).

And in another place:--

They shall not leave of it until the morning, nor break a bone thereof (Num. 9:12);

not to break a bone, in the supreme sense signifies not to do violence to truth Divine; and in the representative sense, not to do violence to the truth of any good whatever; for the quality of good and the form of good are from truths, and truth is the support of good, as bones are of flesh."

Who's to say that the tapes given to J were the ONLY ones? He could have kept or given someone the unedited ones, or there are more tapes. Not sure if anyone has said this, but I thought of this. I still have like two pages to read, but I though I should post this before I forgot.

If by "student film" you mean "group of friends making a movie" then usually no- if you mean "student film" as in "students at a film school", then most definitely. When I went, our professors had us divide the roles- and that wasn't arbitrary roles, but rather "industry roles" like grip, boom op, etc. The "boring stuff" was included. A tech guy to edit the tapes would be an assistant editor- they would upload and sort the tapes. Because all of the information is put into a central harddrive (usually), it is entirely plausible, if TTA is one of the guys/girls working on MH, that they copied the files.

Judging from the fact that there is a garbage bag full of tapes, and J says something along the lines of, "Being a film student myself" (does he say exactly that?) I would think that MH is a student film in the latter sense- one done in or for a film school. Alex changed universities- if he was in university, would he have so much time to make a film that was this involved, unless it was for class?


If Alex was paranoid, I doubt he'd let ANYONE touch the tapes he was carrying.

 		Well, that stuff about Bone and the Bible is the best I've heard about the lettering thus far.

Just wondering; has anybody heard from J since his last Twitter post about totheark? I ask because I know people were asking him questions that he hasn't yet answered (last I heard), also, in the past two weeks he was uploading entries every Saturday-ish, and it's almost Tuesday and we haven't heard a peep from him.

EDIT: Also, totheark was responding on the first Wednesday following the Entry being posted. Could all be coincidence though, hence why I'm asking if anyone had gotten a response from him yet.

 		Could something have happened from him? I haven't noticed any pattern in his posts, so I'm not sure if anything is irregular. I think it's a possibility that he had to go to the hospital...it would be weird if he gets prescribed the same drugs that he found in the house.

Well, an ARG is an Alternate Reality Game, correct?

The viewers of Marble Hornets have had little-to-no interactions with the goings-on of Marble Hornets. It's more like a movie that we can talk to. We can ask what J is going to do, not tell him. Any ideas we offer to J that he comments on as being "good" is more or less J saying "Yeah, jerk, I'm going to do that anyway."

Unlike JAFOOL, or other ARGs, there's no involvement here. There's us trying to crack a code that may not exist. Instead of deciding what happens next, we're divining what is already set in motion. We have no control over this, because it's not a game.

Ah, I see...so we need more videos/information for it to be a game? Or does the people have to like.....tell us to go here and do this or something?

TTA kinda seems like he's playing games, but we're not sure if we're doing it right.

You're staying in an abandoned house for months,maybe years.... do you really want to pay full price on food when you need all the money you can get?

But in all seriousness I would think that, but IMO there isn't any significance besides that they are simply coupons.

Unless they ward SM off or something.

 		I just thought the coupons showed that he left in a hurry and/or there was a struggle. People often mail coupon books to houses- creepy houses are no exception. As has been said, he probably cut them out because he didn't want to have to go work for money to buy food.

 		Has anyone thought that the sound distortions like in Entry 5 sound like the buzzing of hornets, but hornets made of MARBLE???

Haha it's just a joke me and my friend have. Somebody here probably already made that connection.

So I'm liking what pleh! came up with when it comes to Bone. So how about the rest of the things in the room/closet with "Bone" in it? There's like, sawdust or something, and aluminum, and a wooden stick. So... What's the deal with that?

No, we need our interaction to matter to the story for it to be an ARG. Even if it's not an ARG, it's still fun and cool.

 		So I feel like I can a join a super secret club now.

I had a dream about SM while I was talking my nap. It was kind of cool, because it was actually MH related.

The only things I can really remember is that J posted another video. I don't remember the video scene for scene or anything, but I do recall the video the camera (So, the cameraman) standing still, as you see a man that could pass as SM with a face slowly making his way through the crowd. Video cut out.

And then the TTA response starts out looking at an empty field, and then you see a group of people running through it, and then lastly you see SM hauling ass, his harm turning into a freaky looking hammer thing, knocking out one guy trailing in the back and then tackling the next closest guy.

Which reminds me, wasn't there an Entry with a video tear and then Alex starts ripping paper for seemingly no reason? Maybe they rip paper because the noise it makes wards off SM somehow? I dunno.

Yeah. Entry #3. He's doing it off camera, so you can't see what he's ripping up, though.
