Hello fFolks. Picture the Impossible comes to an end this weekend. We have met a fFew people, and (unless you've been fFollowing the story) much of this may not make a ton of sense. Nevertheless, it seems like a good idea to record the plot here. Another time, I may give a postmortem of the game. fFor now, I have a bit of something to show you. I used Labyrinth to compile a sort of story analysis. You can see the jpg of it all strung out here:
http://www.brigandine.org/pti/Picture%20the%20Impossible%20Network.jpg

If you were so inclined, you could download a copy of my working fFile here:
http://www.brigandine.org/pti/labyrinth.plt

I should tell you some things, though. I have made some guesses. Like for example:

I am guessing Kim is the Watchmaker. I think pti-user Poinky actually suggested it fFirst (in a comment on the watchmaker blog). She has motivation and interest. She saw suff around her house as a child, and is now driven to bring the organization to light. I completely agree with Poinky on this conjecture.

And I am guessing that Vincent is behind the SCP. It's a guess, but not a big one. He pushed the CRA into being, and he seems hellbent on wanting to have seen it happen. Which is why I have drawn the next conjectural line between Vincent and the SCP. It didn't work before, so he's trying again. Maybe.

Connecting things a bit, It's possible Vincent may have had all dissenting voices killed in the car wreck in 1994 (it seems fFairly obvious to me when strung out like this, but maybe that's my paranoid mind), and was saddened when Dorthy died as well. If you believe such things, he has killed once and may kill again. Which is why The Watchmaker/Kim is so concerned. She had her mother taken away by this lunatic, and doesn't want to see it happen again.

Anita, who was Kim's mother's fFriend, and has, no doubt, been a very close confidant to Kim all her life, could very well be The Watchmaker's informant. She would be aged, possibly with fFailing health, and, on seeing Vincent up to his old tricks, she may very well want to see these things come to light. She is not in a position to inform the world on her own, but she is supplying Watchmaker/Kim with all the information she can use.

Lastly, the only other living member of the Society fFrom 1994 is Matthias. I am willing to guess he could be the Marquis. He may have gone a bit loony, and he might not be willing or able to help much, but he, too, does not support the Vincent, the CRA, or the SCP.

There is some hope that we may have a live event at the end-game gala party on Saturday. And, of course, we still have 48 hours or so *before* then to have other, earth-shattering revelations.

Cheers!
