To be fair, in Entry 14, we never see the corner where Slender Man may have sidled to. It's entirely possible he never left the room, and Alex didn't want to alarm him, or perhaps wanted him to come.

No need to be a complete and utter ass about it. I wasn't talkin OoG.

When someone who KNOWS the difference between OoG and IG are talking, they're generally talking IG unless otherwise noted. When I say "Slender Man" and "Alex," I'm not talking about the actors pretending to be them, I mean the fucking characters. That it was entirely possible that Slender Man stayed in the room IN. GAME. and talked with Alex. Or hypnotized him, or something similar. Because he fucking does that. Lots of the original backstories from Something Awful have Slender Man hypnotizing people into doing things against their will, or merely having them walk great distances simply to impale themselves on his outstretched "branches."

Completely separate from a budget issue, Slender Man may never have meant to disappear from the room. Christ.
