This seems to support the idea that Slenderman isn't visible to the naked eye.

what about entry #12?

Totally gonna use this as a plug for my post above.

He doesn't have individual control over things, but he does project a field that he can control.

TyranaRaptor here, might not be logged in.

Anyone think the whole "cold in here" thing is a bit suspicious? Cold is a HUGE sign of ghost, and it has popped up in a few Slenderman stories. Not suggesting Slendy is a ghost, just saying.

So why is it that only J feels the cold?

whatever slenderman may be, he is way creepy. and not only that but maybe his facelessness is significant and not only that but if Alex is behind the camera why isnt he scared of seeing slenderman in the window? because in entry #9 he immediately gets the chills and leaves after clearly seeing slenderman in the alley.

Was I the only one that thought it was really conspicuous the way Alex asked "Where's Brian?" when we have Tim, J, and Alex all clearly present, and SM just lurking there?

This gives me the impression the "prank" theory might have some weight, were it not for the obvious visual distortion.

And the obvious monster in the window, which J walks right by. And it's not like Slenderman is being still, he's a fidgety lil' guy.

Once thing I noticed is that they appear to be there for a long time between the first scene and the second, as it's a little brighter and the shadow has moved from behind Tim, to the wall to his right.

Tim seems to be really thirsty. Just a question, wasn't he asking or alluding to needing something to drink in Entry 15, during the interview? I think at the end, said he was going to the lunchroom for a drink or something. Brian's off getting snackies.

@Kilo: Hey, no problem, it's what I do.

The whole prank theory never made any sense to me. Brian and tim wouldn't be pranking alex to the point where he goes insane. Same with J. Also, alex obviously fires a gun at somepoint, meaning if he killed tim or brian, there would only be one of them left. and there would be no point in that person going back to kill J.

I just don't get this anymore. How can you not notice some creeper standing right outside your window and yet see him clearly down an alley way at another time. I'm sorry, a black suit doesn't blend in with green/brown landscape scenery.

The distortion on Tim's shadow only affects his head. While his head's shadow is distorted, Tim looks uncomfortable and confused, rubbing his head and mumbling more than usual. The distortion affects only one of the light sources in the room. I believe his request for water is a response to that sense of confusion. In two other entries, Tim has spoken up about wanting to get lunch or missing lunch - if water is a part of his lunch, maybe he is subconsciously fighting off some SM-headaches?

Other thoughts and observations:
- When Tim runs his hand through his hair and says Brian is down at the store, the frame bumps up. This is not like the clipping from earlier - strangely, it reveals footage that was out-of-frame.

- Elements of the conversation feel disjointed, especially the constant questions. Tim's question about the script seems especially strange (both the way he asks, and the content of his question).

- Where did J's sweater come from? His comment is that Alex must have the AC on, so he wasn't expecting it to be cold when he came over. Therefore, he shouldn't have a sweater with him in Alex's house at all. Obviously J felt cold before he went to Alex's place, and forgot why he was wearing a sweater during the course of filming.

- The blind rod is swinging back and forth throughout the *entire* entry. Also, the blinds are up in the opening clip (or I can't seem them due to the sun), but are down for the remainder of the Entry.

- Slender Man seems to move with Tim (around 0:26), then moves back when Tim moves back. He does not match arm movements. I don't think he moves any other time; the leaves are moving but he is not.

- I agree that Tim is standing behind a second story window. If that is the case, SM is really really tall, and it is probably not Brian spooking around. Also, no one saw him so it would have been an ineffective prank.

- At 1:23, the video separates into blue/red, similar to totheark's Program video.

that makes sense and if if a murder were to happen im sure the police would get involved. On the matter of both J and Alex going insane people are that demented and bored with their lives to the point where they need to make others miserable, people are capable of terrible things.

Any who my opinion is why they don't say "who put that faceless guy in our shot?", slenderman can clearly be seen lurking as someone so wonderfully put it. So my question is why didn't Alex or J for that matter bother to monitor their camera to see slenderman? or notice him when looking at Tim? another thing i might point out is that it isn't until Tim exaggerates his thirst, and J showing how cold he is that slenderman decides to distort the film (I think slenderman was just bored of being in the spotlight).

All good observations, but I think this here is probably more of an oversight on the part of the creators.

Pure conjecture here, but what if SM thinks he's being stealthy b/c he can't normally be seen by the naked eye. The camera sees him but it isn't viewable until you watch the tape.

So SM's playing Peeping Tom when his presence starts affecting Tim, causing him to become disoriented then thirsty. Shortly after this happens, SM causes the camera to malfunction b/c either, 1) he's worried about being noticed by the puny humans, or 2) his continued presence shorts out the equipment.

The cold (lack of heat), thirst (lack of water or salt), and equipment shorting out could all be signs of electricity. Maybe SM is electrogenic (i.e., can generate voltage like an electric eel).

The same way I watched the video twice in a row and never saw him.
