I think the only reason it feels like it's impossible for them to not notice Slender Man is because we're already searching for him; we know what to look for. If this is in the early stages then they won't be looking for him, and therefore won't really notice him. I barely noticed him, to be honest. Also, the focus on Tim is very, very strange...the shadow distortion, his movement being matched by Slender Man...I think this evidence suggests that he really is not owning up to something in the interview J had with him.

Also, now that I think on it a little bit more, maybe Alex thought he noticed Slender Man. Maybe he asked where Brian was because he thought he saw him outside the window, when it was actually Slender Man, and then dismissed it. However, this would debunk the theory that they're on a second story, and I'm partial to that idea.

Probably making connections where they don't exist, but it's interesting that the distortion of Tim's shadow is almost entirely on the shadow of his head, given that in Entry #15, Tim's head is out of frame for most of it. (I assumed the latter was because either 1. OOG so Tim's actor could be reading off a script, or 2. Because J was pretending his camera wasn't on? But with this added information, maybe that IS important.)

I think we're getting hung up on the way Tim is behaving in the video to me it just seems like he thinks the dialog is cornball and wants to critique but bites his tongue.

At 1:18 or so J points out that Alex has left the camera on and Alex just mumbles something about "yea where gonna go through it a couple more times anyway."

Perhaps Alex sees SM, and wants to leave the camera running so he can prove to himself that it's Brian screwing with him. Hence his asking of where Brian is. [Edit: I should note that I'm saying at this point Alex is trying to rationalize the supernatural that is SM by chalking it up to Brian.]

As a reference there are cuts at 0:14, 0:21, video jumps up a foot and back down at roughly 1:00

A lot of theories have popped up here that I'd not normally agree with, yet.... I find it hard to argue at the same time to quite a few.

In the audio, that bang was from part of the dialogue I amplified. But I really think the clicking bears some sort of significance. If this was the only video that contained it, I'd likely disregard it. But the thing is we've heard this before, so something's definitely up with it.

I'd say that they were filming on the first floor. I live in a house that has trees and shrubbery planted all over the yards, and there are plenty of treelike shrubs that partially obscure my view from the windows, especially in full leaf. Anyway, we've never actually seen SM in these videos be that much taller than normal, so the second floor theory just seems a bit dubious to me.

Hm. I didn't think the shadow noise was relevant, but when all the weirdness surrounding Tim is put together, it does seem to mean something.

Look at this image, there is something curious about it. It looks to be as if either Tim had another face superimposed over his, or (less likely in my opinion, but still possible) he moved just as the video cut out, distorting his own image between the capture of movement and the still shot.

Tried layering the two pictures on top of each other and setting one of the layers to difference to see if anything popped out at me, and it looks like it's just a distortion, or whatever's overlaid on the second image is too well masked for me to pull it out.

And now I can see that it is. Strange video cuts, and I think that what happened after the picture froze is important.

Why would J say he's going back to the house when he's already been followed there once? And what if something worse happens?
