Not seeing much here, but I thought I'd post the overlays, just for posterity. There are three notably different frames visible in the last sequence when the audio distorts and just before the video cuts out. One is just Tim frozen, one is distorted, and one is further distorted, separating out reds and blues.

1. The first and second of those frames overlaid (With difference effect on)
2. The first and third frames overlaid with difference effect on.
3. Second and third frames
4. All three

Well, other than Slenderman standing out in all of them, Tim looks rather sad in the first one. =P

If I was J the most important thing i would think to do is corner Tim with the footage. I think that having two people investigating will make future entries less scary, so they are not gonan do it.

I think what happens too Tim's face is clearly at the end is clearly trying to explain that slenderman is what is fucking up the tapes (though it was easy to deduce this anyway) It could also be a clue that out of everyone Tim was feeling the effects of SM the most, it is also extremely interesting what happened after the tape went screwy.

I don't think Alex was filming himself yet and that the camera was really just left on by accident. When alex was filming himself he was already extremly agitated and paranoid everything still seems chilled at this point.

I think something has happened to Brian, obviously not killed cause he shows up again in entry 7. This is old school horror, warning that something is happening "Where did victim go, they seem to be taking a while"

I'm not entirely sure what to make of this video.

I think the theory regarding Alex thinking that Slender Man is Brian in this video is possible.

Entry #18 is going to be VERY interesting.

Does anyone else think that we're digging too much into this whole Tim thing? I'm not going to deny it, it seems interesting and the connection seems plausible, but I feel like that we're starting to mix up TTA and MH videos- like I've said before, MH videos are shallow. What you see is what you get. TTA has all the stuff that needs interpreting, MH videos just need explaining.

Agreed. I think the simple fact that Tim is around and seemingly well 3yrs later puts him low on the hit parade as far an a subject of interest.

So is "It's so cold in here" J, yet he is one of the main subjects of interest in this whole ordeal. Not to mention that we got a recent appearance from Tim in J's interview. It would be reckless of our investigation to throw out the main source of evidence. Just because totheark shows us some Mensa puzzles doesn't mean we shouldn't try to analyze anything else. I much prefer the social investigation of MH over TTA's handwaving numerology.

For the record, I was talking about this whole Tim's face is blurred out/head shadow is pixelated/what have you having meaning.

I honestly think we're reading slightly too much into J's jacket-wearing habit.

Truth be told, once the seasons begin to shift, from summer to fall, the temperature drops, and you'd be a liar if you've never seen someone wearing a jacket in early Fall and thought they were exaggerating slightly. Perhaps the jacket was meant to give us a sense of time, not mental health. Perhaps the reason they didn't react to Slenderman, rather then him being "Dim," or invisible to the eye at his will, they thought he was a Halloween decoration?

MH-the-student-film was a summer project, wasn't it? If this is from the beginning of filming MH, hen this would be in around May or June of 2006.

I was a film student project, but I don't know if it was a summer project.

Checking the wikidot now....

...

Nahh, doesn't give a specific date other than 2006. However, that doesn't prove you false, nor me right.

I'd be more inclined to agree with you if J didn't say "it's really cold in here". He was also wearing a hat, and Tim was in a t-shirt (we can probably assume Alex was too). It also looked like mid-summer to me, from what I could see out the window. Plus, Alex made a point to state that he was comfortable, whereas J was bundled up. He says it felt like the AC was cranked up in the room. I maintain that J being cold was because he was being affected by Slenderman.

Hell, we're probably reading too much into everything, but that doesn't stop us from having fun with it.

See, TTA has the actual puzzles, but that doesn't mean there aren't clues based on storyline continuity that we could be picking up.

It is of interest that J is the only one wearing a jacket, and that our attention was drawn to this fact through dialogue. If it was just an incidental part of J's wardrobe, I don't think the actors would have been told to say "Yo, J, why you wearing the jacket?" Pretty much the same as circling it in red and pointing little arrows in the direction.

Watching the video again, it is interesting how Tim starts rubbing his eyebrow as though he has a headache when his shadow become pixelated. Hm.
