Perhaps it is a chess board, and the proper sequence isn't really how it is shown, laid out, but how a knight would traverse the board

Jack's hands can be seen at 1:41.

Does EVERY site have to have a video player that sucks? I can't even move the slider without it having to reload the entire thing.

On a scale from 1-10 on the cool-o-meter, how cool would it be if I got the chain tatoo that Jack has? Very Happy

EDIT: On a scale from Fan-Lifetime Virgin, how nerdy would it be if I got the chain tattoo that Jack has? Very Happy Lol. I'm kidding of course. I dunno... It's kinda gangsta, kinda nerdy. It would actually probably pretty cool.

Mark's done it. He found out how to get through the final layer of the puzzle box. I'm on pins and needles. It's almost creepy how much we're anticipating this... But I'm loving every second of it. Very Happy Also, apparently it's time to leave. Mark's got nothing left, and it's time to find out where Lutwidge is sending him.

Im not all that sure you are right there he said "Third Layer" if i have count correclty:

Layer 1: Slider Puzzle
Layer 2: Microphone + Jewelry box
Layer 3: Phronima Puzzle
Layer 4 (the one we are stuck on): 5x5 grid with alphabet

I think youve got some puzzles mixed up or i might too...went and played with the box after your post dosent seem to be doing anything new.

The 5x5 is the third layer of the CUBE. It's the third layer of that particular puzzle. Your number 2 is a different puzzle. I didn't say we'd be able to do anything new, but Mark sure knows what to do. Also, Mark wouldn't have written about finally cracking the third layer if he'd already done it. And trust me, this letter is new.

final Layer

It looks like Marks ready to head in the direction of Rapture, well at least that's I got from the line "have your contacts meet me at the docks"

On the main screen, looking directly at Mark's desk, it's in the lower right corner of the screen just beneath and to the right of the fan.

Ah, I see it now. I must have skipped over it, thinking it was one of the letters that was already there.

That still doesn't answer the question of how to open the box...
