[Trailhead] A Plea For Help Just got an email from darcycollingwoodSPLAT googlemail.com
sorry if this has been found already...this is what she sent me:
Sorry to email out of the blue. Things have gone a little quicker than I expected. I haven't time to explain... I don't know when I'll be able to get on here again. Charlene sent me your email addresses, she said you might be able to help me. Well, maybe she has reason to know, but I'm not so sure I can trust you yet.
This chain isn't hard at all... but let's see if you can complete all the links. If you can't, there's no point me asking your help any further.
Every answer one word, nothing more. From each word's last, you can find the next word's first.
Greek goddess of the moon
Biblical wife of Abraham
One of the most famous females to rule the ancient land of the Nile
Potus 33
Flower and watercress, twisting a nose
90km southwest of Athens, a centre of Ancient Greek civilisation
A scientist for whom much was relative
Irish for bright, and daughter of the god of the oceans
Golden ship of a male duck
Introduced a new golden coin to standardise the Byzantine economy
Send me your answers, once you have them. I hope I can rely on you. Right now all I know is that I can't do this alone.

im gonna get right on it after i finish up this homework
also sent her an email, trying to figure out who exactly Charlene is...

Also, while it's technically incorrect, the moon goddess answer might be Artemis, which allows Abraham's wife to be Sarah.

The "start with the last letter of the preceding word" caught me too so be careful. Didn't see that myself for a bit

I think Nereids are the daugthers of Poseidon.

I got the email as well.
In conjunction with all prior posts (and maybe y'all should spoiler some, eh?)
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Introduced a new golden coin to standardise the Byzantine economy - Justinian II ?
"Bright" in Irish is "gael", at least according to Google translate.
None of the Nereids match; I checked. And I checked Poseidon's children, but can't find a list of Neptune's; the only one I found that was a possibility was Rhode.
ETA:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
For the record, there are only four Nereids that start with an "N":
Nemertes
Neomeris
Nesaea
Neso
And Frances Drake's flagship ended up being the "Golden Hind"

"Golden ship of a male duck" is referring to Francis Drake's ship anyway. I just can't get stuff to fit with it.
I'm also torturing myself since 5 years of doing Irish in school apparantly haven't rubbed off on me enough to get any other words than "gael" myself D:
Edit:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Anastasius may also be the coin reform, as he introduced the Solidus. But I have no idea on anything anymore

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Drake's Ship = Hind? I think it's the golden hind. but neither nereids nor nereid fit.
