No, you're not alone! There is also that grid pattern on the window that kind of obscures the area.

I'd say this pretty much has to be the second floor.

Otherwise, Tim is taller than SM is this picture.

And that makes NO sense.

1) Perspective
2) I dunno 'bout Amerikaland, but here pretty much no house is level with the ground.

My first floor certainly isn't located directly on the ground. Like, there's the basement, which peeks out of the ground and has windows, and then you have to use a staircase to get to the first floor of the building itself, else you'd have to jump up just to reach the door.

Yeah, any houses is going to have at least a crawl space to access the pipes which will raise the floor level on the 1st floor about 12" to 18".

Not every house has crawl spaces either. However, my house sits on a solid concrete slab. So, yea, it's still a little bit off the ground. And remember, not all trees or plants are really tall.

It's hard to judge if it's on the second floor or the ground floor. I'm GUESSING it's on the ground floor. Just from the angles I'm seeing within the small portion we see of the room and what's outside the window.

Every House in my neighborhood has a crawlspace located on the second floor rather than the ground floor.

Interesting, no?

Heh, you know you think I'd have realized that if I had stopped to think that in fact my house also doesn't have one. Smile

I still think it's ground floor though.

Also, it's entirely possible that SM is hunched over.

Some observations:

Has anyone noticed that the window is open the whole time? You can tell by looking at how the mid lines don't align between the fore and aft panes of glass.

The branch in the foreground (the one that's right up against the window and a darker green than the others) I believe is affixed in some way. Note how it doesn't move when the wind is rustling the aft foliage. I wonder if it could be mounted to the exterior wall like on a trellis or even a sticker or decal of some sort?

The breeze doesn't start until Tim starts acting. Once they cut and J steps out, the breeze stops.

Its called a "fan" Smile

In fact, if you notice how SM "sways", it corresponds to the wind blowing. To be meta about it, the way SM stands there and sways in the breeze looks like a scarecrow than an actor.
