That's an odd series of numbers. And there seem to be too many even for GPS coordinates...I wonder if it spells something in Morse maybe...

I don't think it is the correct answer, but who knows:
nimbus just means "rain", so it could mean "Happy Rain", which is a song from a group called "7 seconds".

No, nimbus is a cloud bearing rain, not rain itself. That is called rain.

Than there is an error on wikipedia:
Quote:

A Nimbostratus cloud is characterized by a formless cloud layer that is almost uniformly dark gray. "Nimbo" is from the Latin word "nimbus", meaning rain.

Since the puzzle makes my head hurt right now, I'll chime in just to say that the gold in the field is very likely the recently found "Staffordshire Hoard" that was found by a guy metal detecting on a farmer friend's land. It also recently went up on display.

Extra info found Here and Here

I don't know about wiki info, I just looked up the definition of nimbus in the dictionary. *shrug* Smile

eta: on an unrelated note, I just realized (from your avatar) that facebook has been telling me I should be friends with you AUZ for weeks now, lol.

Trying to figure out the numbers at the bottom. I can't quite make out if what's between the numbers is addition symbols or arrows. If they're addition symbols, and we're meant to just do the math, we get:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
4 5 3 9 5 12
7 11 7
43 11 10 14 16 43

The first line put in a one-for-one type cypher over to letters is "de ciel". If the last line interpreted as coordinates (43° 11' 10", 14° 16' 43") you end up in the middle of the Adriatic Sea. And of idea what 7 11 7 would be in this scenario. So, probably not.

The first line put in a one-for-one type cypher over to letters is "de ciel" but the it falls apart. the last line interpreted as coordinates (43° 11' 10", 14° 16' 43") puts you in the middle of the Adriatic Sea. So, probably not.

you know, i don't get why 0(zero) is more important than 2 or 554... why wouldn't there be any math without it?

If considering alternatives the distance from Chicago to LA is:
2813 kilometers or 1748miles or 1519 nautical.

But does algebra = math? I mean I would think 1 would be the number there would be no math without.
