Ok, I think ive figured this out, the site is being updated and the box isnt supposed to be there and its a technical malfunction. I say this because the last time I played with the box, when launched it defaults to the Phronima puzzle, not the sliders. Also you might notice that the file cabinet appears kinda fuzzy and badly rendered. Another subtle difference is that the radio tuner used to have a small red button that could be used to shut off the dam* thing if it was getting in the way of listening to something, that too has vanished. Other more subtle things are the Arcadia bottle is gone, and his pill bottle is also gone. Give it a few more hours and im sure it will behave it self, cause the way this is going i cant make head or tails out of it

So do you guys think this is the end? Did we do all that work looking up the most abstract possible answers for this puzzle just to never know what's inside?

P.S. Don't think the 5x5 appearing on some computers is a Vista glitch, I have Vista and it's not there for me.

Guys, I think mark is going to have a problem when he gets back. He left his lamps on, so if he's in financial trouble, he's going to be in even more after he get's back from fishin'

This is getting good, although I wish we would have figured out the 5x5. =(

i get the box too, but when i solved it, then solved the music box, then solved the metal cube again, it was gone. it got as far as showing me the 5x5 puzzle and then the screen went back to the room and the box was gone... i'm on XP. odd. oh well.

I have a feeling that the scene on the site is going to change... instead of seeing his study, we'll be looking at his room on the ship he's taking, or something along those lines. Either that, or Mark will be back in a few days, having come up empty-handed, and we'll get a slow trickle of information as to what happened and why. I can also vouch that the box is here on my work machine running Vista Enterprise and Google Chrome :S How odd. Is it randomly picking IP's to try and finish the last puzzle? Or is it just a full on glitch...

I hope this isn't the end. I've been following this for ages and would love to see the conclusion end better than this!

I'm expecting a new site to pop-up. I just don't see them changing the main SitS site as it's the anchor of the game. I actually searched www.gonefishin.com but it's a generic fishing site.

I haven't posted here in a LONG time, and the massive amount of updates is impressive. I've followed more or less all of the posts that you've posted, and I'm just a little behind with a few things. I've got a few oddball theories, but I need to actually organize them a little... I should be posting them tomorrow some time.

EDIT: Just got to the 5x5... but it disappeared. This really shouldn't be an issue... hopefully is fixed soon enough.
