I will post the email chain I've had with Hatshoe, I don't think there's much there. I just have been too busy. In my off time on the bus I've tried every crazy combination of the errors on the various pages that I can think of, but so far no luck. Either there is nothing more to find, or the next clue isn't like the previous one, or it's just too obscure, or I just haven't hit on it yet. I'm glad we're all trying, maybe one of us will figure it out.

I'm thinking to concentrate on the clues in the code, I think they're our most solid clues so far. Maybe we need a wiki with everything we've found so far, what does everyone think?

Don't worry, I can create it but I think I'll leave filling it up to people with a little more comprehension. So I'll get on making one and posting the url here, anyone can fill it up with whatever but I reccomend keeping it to facts only, speculation can have a seperate wiki page or simply be done here, up to you guys. I'll make a couple pages now but they will be sparse.

And lostthegame, that list could be helpful, maybe it's telling us what the 'batches' are, i.e. when things were scanned is the batch it's in? Just suggestion.

EDIT: The wiki is made, I decided to leave it blank but here it is, update as you see fit, I simply can't be bothered to do anything more right now, lol. Sadly a simple hatshoe domain was already taken but this will suffice.

EDIT: Good to see the wiki busy. I'd like to ask everyone who had email contact with Hatshoe to either visit the wiki and create your own page under the 'Email Contact' section with your unfiction username. In that section I'm putting all the email contact we've had with him as it might be nice to have it all together. Please redact any info you see fit to redact and if you don't know how or can't be bothered to edit, just copy and paste the emails and private message me or someone else who is willing to edit it with your email contact and we'll post it up for you. Thanks guys!

Thanks for creating the Wiki, Jaeger! I started a page on Source Code clues we've found so far. I also included the image alts, as I didn't feel they really needed their own section.

For anyone interested:

Anyone have any new correspondence with Hatshoe at all? I'm so frustrated, I feel like we're at a dead end.

Me too. I wish Fezzik would post the emails.

... Maybe Hatshoe killed him. Surprised

Recieved a new email from our pal. I replied asking where he got this idea:

Quote:
Dear friend, I believe that we shall get along quite famously.
Perhaps you are the closest after all.

Don't have a clue what I did to elicit that response but he seems to respond well to politeness, madness and affectionate terms such as 'Dear Sir' and 'My Good Friend'. Maybe it was my comment about concentrating on code? Or the starting the wiki? Either way, it's always so hard to tell with this one. I'll see what more I can get him to say on the subject.

Agh, I am SO jealous of you guys who have communicated with him.. I've sent him two emails and they've been completely ignored. I don't know if I should keep trying, or if I should just butt out.

The face

Hi everyone, just surfed on in a couple hours ago from /x/ on 4chan and made my way through all the postings. Must say I'm loving this - never really been involved in ARGs before.

Something from teh_lisa that I thought might be significant and you guys might have missed the connection:

teh_lisa wrote:
"the eyes were what gave the whole thing away it was like they weren't even part of the face". "there was something about the neck" and "I might/don't remember being/seeing a mouth(?)" and maybe something like "the eyes/head just stared". It is obviously a drawing of a person who something has happened to and notes about those changes?

The face on bone seems to match this - the eyes are huge and freaky (not even part of the face), there's no mouth. I didn't see anyone saying this. Anyway, if I'm overstepping the bounds I beg n00b leniency Smile

This is probably totally unrelated, but the whole thing with Carl and Hatshoe watching his neighbors for him reminds me of the Glarthir quest in Elder Scrolls IV, where Glarthir is a paranoid Wood Elf and is suspicious of his neighbors, so he asks you to watch their movements and eventually asks you to kill them for him.

Anyway, this is one of my first ARGs, and it's really interesting.

Welcome, Noodle36, glad to have you aboard! This is certainly a very interesting little game. The face drawn on "Bone" didn't even occur to me until you brought it up. I don't know how relevant it is, but nice catch! We can see it's a recurring theme now.

Dante007 - heh, I thought the exact same thing about Glarthir. Glad you're enjoying Hatshoe too - we all are! We feel as if we may be at kind of a dead end right now... We're waiting for some kind of clue from Hatshoe, be it in the form of an email, Twitter update, or new entry.

More people means more minds working at all these hidden puzzles, so you guys should post your theories or ideas whenever something occurs to you.

Sheogorath

Sheogorath is also part of the Daedric princes from Elder Scrolls lore. He is the Daedric prince of madness.
Just a heads up.
