I think that's J's leg kicked out as he's trying to keep balance. Which is another argument for there being a third party in the area.

Yeah, it should be worth looking into this a bit more. Someone with PS skillz should get some screencaps and light em up.

Yeah and this whole ARG would turn out to be some reaaaaally bad mix of random creepy stuff. XD
That's actually struck me once or twice. What if all of these videos are just random acting and video editing exercises to make cool / creepy stuff? What if there is nothing more to it? XD

Against the Stab theory: Erm... J is still quite human. So he takes some time to tell us that the knife he took with him was missing, but not, say "the knife I stabbed that guy with is missing"? Unlikely. At least I'm not buying it.

Erm, no. Not necessarily. The video ends at that spot, and J cannot remember what happened afterwards, but that does not mean he lost conciousness. He might have just as well gotten into his car, driven off, and fallen asleep.

Interesting theory: J dropped the camera, but was he the one who picked it up again? Wink Anyone can hold a camera.

Also, interesting how he cannot remember anything as soon as the camera was turned off. Some sort of... supernatural connection here?

He wouldn't have remembered whether he stabbed Maskface or not. So that argument doesn't hold much water.

 		You know, I really don't like this whole "third person" theory. I don't know, I take the "NO!" to be Mask reacting to J trying to take the mask off, and the whole "getting thrown bit"... the camera makes for really weird perspective, I'd imagine that was more J getting startled and stumbling.

How so? If J is startled and running backwards he could have bounced against the wall, caught his foot on his other foot and stumbled, as he falls in the other room he drops the camera and starts coughing, does he pick it up before masky moves? I can't remember, either way the shadow that people are saying is someone else down the hall with masky is his knee, he lifts his knee up to put his foot on the floor just under his ass either to rock himself into an upright position OR to roll over. I'll watch it again and see, it could just be the torch light shining off masky's knee and movements making it look like someone else.

Or do you mean someone pulling J out of the way?

 		I still say that was Masky yelling "NO!" because J tried to remove his mask.

Has anyone seen Watchmen?

In Watchmen, when the police catch Rorshach, they try to pull his mask off and he's very desperate that it stays on, screaming "NO!" and thrashing about.


This just reminds me of the way Masky acted when his mask was touched. Apparently it's very important that J (or our mystery 3rd person, if it applies) not know who he is yet.

I'm still skeptical that J actually stabbed this guy. Just because his knife was missing, doesn't mean he stabbed him. I think that if J did stab him, it would have been in his leg or something; Masky was still thrashing when J ran outside.

And, once again, I am convinced that Masky wasn't attacking J, because he runs right past J and pushes him aside. I get the feeling that Masky was totheark, and this meeting had good intentions, but just went horribly wrong.

I also feel really sorry for both J and totheark. J wanted Masky to be Alex so bad. He wanted his old friend to embrace him and tell him that it was okay, and that they could work out a way to get out of their situation together. I mean, think about it, J is alone in this. All alone. A friendly face would be a great comfort.

As for totheark; assuming he was Masky, he was looking forward to this meeting, maybe a kind of powwow to address the situation they were in, but the third party screwed all that up, and now J thinks he is the bad guy. And, if Masky WASN'T totheark, then the third party would have been totheark, and he would have been equally upset that this mysterious masked douchebag attacked him/J, thus scaring J off.

Either way, I can't wait for totheark's response.

EDIT: To back up the theory that Masky ran PAST J, the camera is in J's right hand. that means it was most likely on the right side of him, and because Masky ran to the right of the camera, and J was thrown to the left, that implies that he wasn't heading straight for J.

Also, I thought I saw something when J was looking back at Masky on the floor, but I watched it a few times in slow motion, and I believe it was just Masky kicking/moving his legs.
