I keep imagining a TTA video showing J with a long slinky arm reaching out of the darkness as mask charges at towards J.

I hope for a TTA video that at least gives us a clue as to what the deal with Maskface was, if not giving us an indirect answer.

Of course, the cynical side of me says that he'll probably make a video like the first three and make us want to shoot him for being so damn cryptic.

I'm re-watching the entry with the brightness adjusted all the way up and I noticed that the back sliding door is completely off it's rails. Not unlocked, or opened, off the rails. You can see it from about 0:44 until 0:49. That really gives me the impression someone forced entry into the house.

Also the couch the Mask sits on is directly in front of the sliding glass door, almost like a barricade. J has to climb up and over it to get inside making a lot of noise with the clatter of the blinds. This seems to imply that the Mask was already in the house and silently made his way to the couch.

Here is the layout from what I picked out from Entries 16 & 18.

The furniture placement is from Entry 18. If you look at the coupons in 16, they resemble the Operator symbol.

Dimensions are off too. The hallway needs shrank a bit.

I'm sure it's been said, but...

It seems as though SM's head is missing in entry 17-- I know that's been said, and it doesn't look as though the community's come to a total consensus on that one. But let's assume his head is missing.

The distortion at the end of the entry seems to be "focused" at Tim's head more extremely than elsewhere. Now, the assailant in 18 is wearing a white flat-affect mask, kinda sorta half-way making him look like SM.

SM's head disappears, Tim's head warps, assailant's head is reminiscent of SM's.

Could just be oblique conjecture, though. Just... sayin'.

Also, agree with/really super-dig incedio's idea.

I just wanted to type up a quick reply about my theories after watching the last few videos.

First of all, I believe Tim, TTA, and the mask man are all the same person. The reason I think this is because of several things. First of all, I think the video that was an interview with Tim was foreshadowing. J never really shows his face. In entry 17 we have more foreshadowing with Tim's face and body blurring out in the end. But how is this foreshadowing? Because the mask-man is wearing a mask, and we never see his face. This all leads me to my final theory, that Tim is being controlled by Slenderman in some way. I think the reason Tim's shadow is all messed up in entry 17 is because Slenderman has possessed his mind, causing visual distortions. This could also explain why we don't see his face in the interview entry, Slenderman also doesn't have a face. My other theory I have posted before is that Slenderman feeds on fear, not by killing others. This would explain why mask-man, who I believe is Tim, didn't kill J. He did make J very scared. The more fear he causes, the better. Of course he does erase J's memory, thus allowing for more fear to come. I don't have much basis to believe that Tim and TTA are the same person, besides the fact that the last TTA video seemed to be luring him back to the house. Even if Tim isn't TTA, TTA and mask-man are probably the same person.

Another thing I didn't see mentioned, I only skimmed the last few pages is that J lost his memory after he turned off the camera. This explains Alex always filming himself, does it not? When he wasn't filming himself he lost all memory, so he decided to film himself all the time to make sure that didn't happen, and also to make sure he was not hallucinating the things he filmed, much like J thought he might have been hallucinating what happened in entry 18. Well I hope all this makes sense, I'm kinda tired right now.
