I thought Jessa the Londonder, though a bit loony, may have a point...what if someone is trying to manipulate thought? Oh I definitely think Beneford and gang are going to be part of something if thet get past the game of Russian Roulette as seen in the sneak peeks.

Also all the epsidoes videos are on ABC.com

Yes, I agree that the woman in London is a loon but you sir are not Laughing. By that I mean you both have a point. The shortest way for me to condense all of my theories for this series is to say the title of a 1953 novel by Sir Arthur C. Clarke. "Childhood's End" is where I believe the show's mythology is aimed at. Instead of aliens though it is a like-minded group of people that are using a side effect from something invented by Simon and Lloyd to force the next step in Man's evolution. If the story in CE sounds familiar, Clarke recycled it to later become 2001: A Space Odyssey. The tip-off for me was thinking of the chess game homage to 2001 and to Kubrick as bigger than the game itself and of perhaps extending to the "Star Child" in 2001. Manipulation of the flashforwards is (maybe) trying to open the next chapter in human history.

I still want to find the answers to the yet unsolved puzzles that were bypassed.

Well, it would seem after this latest episode that Schrödinger's cat may come into play in a different way than an absolute future. Something that was interesting was the mention of a 'jericho team' in the description of Tracy's death. I have noticed the discrepancy between Zoey and Demetri's blackout experiences, but now we have an apparent actual discrepancy to deal with. If you've not noticed, we have never been shown Zoey's vision in a way that definitively includes Demetri.

At any rate, it would seem that the Flash Forwards are not a vision of the absolute condition of Schrödinger's cat, so they are still in the wave function and it would seem the visions are subject to that as well. If any of you are fans of the Dune series, it is sounding more like how Herbert describes the way Paul and his descendants see the future - as several possible results, but unable to see all of the connections and divergences that lead to them. If you recall, Paul discovers that by choosing what seems to be a good path, he excludes possible results he could see beyond his more proximal option - and thus exposes the 'holes' in his vision.

I suspect that at some point either in the show's version of the Mosaic Collective or in the online site, paradoxes will come to light which will narrow possible results. That, or yet another effect is going to rectify paradoxes like Al's.

I just got caught up on my watching of the show.

Annoyance re a website from the show not working in spoiler text, so as not to ruin the plot for people who, like me, need to catch up on their viewing:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I gotta say, I'm a little annoyed that alreadyghosts.com doesn't exist (typing that into your location bar just sends you to the ABC site for the show)...kind of ruins the immersive experience that having the Mosaic page and truthhack.com up tries to create (though I'm also annoyed that flashforwards mentioned on the show don't appear on our version of the Mosaic site).

Also, is it just me, or are these two visions from the show in conflict (also spoilered for those needing to still watch the latest episodes):
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Was Simon strangling Bryce in his flashforward? But Bryce saw a girl in his...but maybe I'm just wrong and that wasn't Bryce being strangled.

I feel confident it was not Bryce

I'll offer this w/o spoiler tags because it was from the top (the "G-man" himself) stated over at RPR.

"...but I will say that our aerially challenged crows will be returning this season." It's always fun to hear from David.

I went ahead and dove in on the FlashAhead page on ABC and entered my guess.

IF DEMETRI'S (not) MURDERED HE WILL (not) BE FATED (to) DIE... is my answer at this point and John Cho will still have a job. 8^)

David has also said that the email domain of NLAP that Lloyd sent to his coworkers at stands for National Linear Accelerator Project.

Re: mosaic
FBI Mosaic agent Marcie Turoff revealed as a mole!

This was indeed fun to see. The FBI agent that was feeding us clues from jointhemosaic.com was turned into a mole. That should make thebruce happy as he was interviewed by her and was given her business card. What a cool collectible. Anyway, here is Marcie in action. She probably was the one to take the potshots at Oscar at the last. Come to think of it nope, she wasn't missing like those goons were, hee.

In a sense, this ARG never ended as there are bucket loads of EEs in the series. One that leads back here (like with Marcie Turoff being a mole) is that I think I have a good grip on why Oscar Obregon's Truthhack site (now offline) had Oscar's office set up like it was from the late 1950's, complete with a photo of Edward R. Murrow.

I believe it was set up to be an allegory for William S. Burrows' non-linear novel called Naked Lunch. I have way too much of the pieces assembled to say here but I have it in an all too verbose "TLDR" brain dump over at Red Panda Resources (dot com) and at a site I help run at http://z6.invisionfree.com/Flash_Forward_Mosaic/index.php

I probably have also found the website that was the inspiration for the ARG for FlashForward solved here.

Here is what I believe to be the "Suspect Zero" page for this ARG: http://www.chessbase.com/newsdetail.asp?newsid=3434

The reason seems simple enough. A Christmas puzzle might be thought of as an advent calendar. It was discovered that a black knight (what I chose to call a dark knight) was the revealed photo after all the boxes were solved/opened. Furthermore, I believe that the "Supershark" text that attended the "advent calendar" moniker will eventually be linked to Dyson Frost aka D. Gibbons. Before we found on the series that Frost was a chess GM at 15 (so was Bobby Fischer) I had surmised that the "Tim Tim and Squirrelio" cartoon character of Supershark might be Frost because Simon told Janis and Stan that his tower design and afterburner had been "sharked" as Simon put it. We now know that the character's name is Finnegan (of Finnegan's Wake) that I had researched ahead of hearing of it on the series. Not prophesy but just following the clues. Despite the overtly "mad" behavior of Frost (I am assuming Utilitarianism is being used by the shovel full) I am now referring to Frost as a tragic Hegelian-styled Hero and believe him to be the completely misunderstood "Dark Knight" and savior of the world. Let's see how this turns out. I do earnestly hope the series does get renewed for it has a glorious "butterfly" ending planned (I think) for its endgame.

Oh, and our very own Marcie was I believe the "queen sacrifice" to move Frost's game onward to victory.

Quote:
In our 2001 Christmas Puzzle we had the following task: Here is a very famous game, or rather a small extract of it. The replay board only shows the moves of the black knight in the course of the game. This knight was absolutely decisive. It tore into the white position, creating mayhem and winning the encounter for Black. Your task is to identify the game and the players. It is one of the best-known games in chess history.

I've just been watching Lost on ABC, and these ads keep popping up. They're a black screen with a small flash of video in a little tile. Then, text comes up on the screen that says, "What did you see?" So far, there have been two ads, one showing a bride and groom kissing and one showing a coffin.

wow I should definitely continue to watch these series. Smile Never heard about these flashforwards. All that I saw was that the 3D model of title 'LOST' is made kinda slappy: when it's near you can see sutures on the letters...

I believe Clemente said that in her flash forward she saw herself "President in 6 months".

Yes, I heard 'President' too!
