So, the delay is almost certainly for OOG reasons, but on the off chance it isn't, what can we do IG?

If we assume Siegfried is in trouble, what are different ways to contact him? He still has his facebook page...I'll send him something. Other thoughts?

I sent him a Facebook message

"Subject: Julius Cubes

aoderuarein?yng?

duuhorieyerloqep"

They're Caesar Box Ciphers which decode to:

Are you in danger??
Do you require help

I don't know...it can't hurt.

I agree that the delay's very most likely for OOG reasons; the Riese team is probably busy with the large influx of viewers and whatnot that came with the partnership-thingy with YouTube, so that's one thing.

If it is IG, then I'm not sure what to do. I'm good with waiting, since I'm doing NaNoWriMo (and I think a few others are as well), and don't want to have an extra amount of crazy injected into my life.

And as for your Facebook message, good luck.

I might try Tweeting the offical account; it's always worth a shot.

Just got this as a reply to my Tweet:

Hey, guys, it looks like something's going on over at the "darkness" forums. The old password ("Onlyhope") no longer works. Better keep an eye on it...

Okay, something's definitely going on. The Title of the forum and the description just changed to:

(title) Bolkel Olamaa

(description) Everything has an origin

Hmm. Nothing on "Bolkel Olamaa " in Google; perhaps it's another anagram? Let's work on that...

Hmm. Nothing in anagrams either- or at least, not with the anagram solvers I'm using.

Maybe it's the "Everything has an origin" statement we need to look at.

This may be a stretch, but when I hear "origin" I think of a cartesian coordinate gird. That combined with "vector" could mean some kind of graphing is in order...

(okay, that sounds as stupid typed out as it sounded in my head. but maybe it will trigger something for someone)

Urg, graphs. I hated doing them in school. I could never get the lines straight, even with a ruler. *headdesk*

And no idea is stupid. It's entirely valid until it's proven otherwise.

I just really hope it isn't graphs...

Origin might refer to the beginning of our quest. Perhaps we should revisit the first pages Siegfried sent us to.

Just thinking...

All anagrams in the game have been logical English words (I am on a cruel beauty, etc.)

These words break the pattern, so I'm thinking they're not anagrams.

Perhaps another language, or we're looking at a substitution code and "origin" is a clue to decipher the message.

Apparently the Olamaa are Islamic Scholars. Might be a coincidence.
