On the issue of the doll, didn't we notice what could have been eye sockets in Entry 6? Either that, or the shadows pass over his face in an odd way. So the eyeholes might just be representation of how SM's face is supposed to be shaped, despite most of the models they use being featureless.

Also, do they really sell dolls like that, with extremely stretched-out legs? I don't know, I'm thinking someone might have made the thing instead of buying it.

Eyes....

Maybe because he can see us? Or to help us see him?

hey
....

Anyone note the 'Who's there?' as soon as J gets in there?
Not, "Is someone here?" which would be logical.
Maybe I've been reading too many French conjugations, but I get the feeling J knew someone was there before he wandered around a bit.

I would expect J to know somebody would be there after watching the TTA video. That was pretty explicit.

They're called Bendi Dolls.

Hehehehe. This one is particularly creepy.

"Tons of fun waiting to happen". Yeah, now I'm tempted to go around and leave a few of these on the doorsteps of fellow MH fans.

You know what's weird? I marathoned all the videos again yesterday, and nothing really stuck out. It all seemed very familiar.

Except ONE thing.

In Entry #16, when J is looking in that little service door, where he sees the word "BONE" spray painted... It looks like there's a metallic hand, maybe constructed out of aluminum foil, that has its "fingers" wrapped around a metal pipe in the back of the serviceway. What struck me as really odd, is J is looking at that hand for a good chunk of time, until his attention is drawn away by an incredibly loud bang.

What struck me as odd, was that no one even noticed this.

I don't think they'd actually fire a real gun, but... In-Game, I think that while J was looking at that thing, the loud noise may have been the gun firing upstairs. Well, I don't really believe that, but it's a plausibliy. I'm more interested in that aluminum-foil hand.

I'll try to grab a screen of it some time.

Couldn't it be that "masky" was someone who wanted to go up against Slender Man? He put the plushie there to lure Slender Man to an easy-to attack position, and then he would leap forward and try to take down Slender.
When he saw Alex he was either afraid/thought it was Slender/didn't care and then he attacked.

I believe that loud bang was him walking into the air return \ vent. The service closet inst ground level, its up about a foot.

That was my interpretation, too.

The bang isn't really the focus of my concern, here.

It was mentioned once, but it wasn't leapt upon. Personally, I didn't see a hand, just a wad of foil wrapped about the pipe, but the person who commented on it before referred to it as a hand, too.

I think mostly we just have no clue about what to make of the thing. It struck me as well while watching the video, but there just wasn't much to say on it. If we had more of a reference to base our curiosity upon, it might have been a bigger deal.

I forgot how fun drawing can be Razz

But I hope TTA does reply back, I wouldn't like for him to be out of the story before we've even gotten to know what he's all about.

EDIT: I checked out Entry 16, I really doubt that bang sound was a gunshot. Would have been very cool if it was, but to me it sounded like a door of some sort clanging shut. It does seem odd, but in the video, J didn't seem to think it was too big a deal, he just went about his business.
