Actually, overlooking the memory pages is probably an accident. It is harder to remove the password because it's not a standard file in *nix based machines. If they just wiped the contents of all the directories of the site, and put a new homepage in, the access file should still be kept, I believe.
The access file is named .htaccess, and the leading "." makes a file hidden in *nix.

if they wanted to wipe the entire site, they would have removed the directories too. if you remove the directory, the .htaccess file will be removed too. the dot really makes the file hidden, in a way that would not delete it if you do "rm *", but if you remove the whole directory (say with "rm -rf memory"), all files inside will be removed, as will be the directory itself. the password prompt indicates that the "memory" directory still exists - the password protection can be set up in the main apache configuration (httpd.conf) and not rely upon a .htaccess file, but it would be highly unlikely as the site is hosted on plesk.

Just something I noticed. Doesn't the compass on Anonfame's main page look alot like the symbols on some of the headstones?

Shaughn,
Your tag-line put me in mind of Kate Bush, "Hounds of Love" album. There were several very eerie tunes on it. 'Waking the Witch' and 'You're Not Here' stick out in my mind. All this alternate reality juncture via the occult and graveyards conures the images again.

Soooo Off-Topic So very off topic, but I'm glad you noticed Sam,
Anyway, It's nothing so esoteric, It's from the band
Dispatch, and its their song Headlights. Great medium-fame
band that doesn't get enough credit.
Anyway, more lyrics from that song, which are oh-so-apropos
for UnForums, and all forums;
Quote:
we're stepping into shelter
movin out of shadow
we made some wrong moves
along the way
oh we might have strayed
will I forget your face
and your fluid gait
or will I stare into the stillness
this is where I miss you
so long
th what's done
how come we've gone
so much time's been wasted
so many thoughts been lost on you
Peace!

Sorry, connecting two threads here.
The common poem at the bottom of our emails from the guides is a poem called Carnac. Carnac is a famous site in France.
Here is a site that shows the difference between menhirs and dolman. I sure looks like a dolman at the cemetery. Lots of fine photos.
http://www.mkzdk.org/carnac/guiden.html
From the site;
Carnac: In Egypt there is a Karnak too, the 'temple of the sun'. In India, there is Koranak, a temple of the sun, home of the universal calendrical stone featured on the old Indian 10 rupee note. And I remember that the spaceship in Gurdjieff's enigmatic "Beelzebub's Tales To His Grandson" was also named Karnak. Local mythologies surrounding the stones abound. These are said to walk to the water sometimes, those to move or dance under the moonlight. They are almost always associated with fertility and enchantment.

Several sites I have run across offer a slightly different definition for dolmen than what we see at AGP. According to these sites, what we have at AGP is called a trilithon.

But Stonehenge is tall, at AGP it appears to be lower to the ground. Dolman are burial tombs which makes some sence in a cemetery. Also of not is that there are carvings on the inside walls. Some look like labrynths - magical pathways. possibly the passage the dead must take to the afterlife?
Today people walk labrynths to "transport" them to a meditative zone. Hedge groves of this design are often for this purpose. The trailer show dale looking at a labryth design.

The latter reminds me of that Carnac site someone posted. I think I may have seen it there, or at one of the sites to which it links.
The key?? No clue..

Grrr.. Seem to be having a minor technical problem here. Looks like the cookie expired a bit too early. Should've remained logged in.
