The house in entry 1 had a window on the front door...in 16 and 18 there was no window on the door.

I think they either used the same house on purpose or they are just reusing it because of their limited budget or whatever. I'm sure you know what I mean?

if you watch Reno 911, some of the other characters are just them with a mask/altered voice Razz

Hey folks, I've been following this thing for a while via this forum and the SA thread and I finally decided to stop lurking and make an account.

Anyway, my idea is that TTA, Alex, and the Masked Man are the same guy, and he's serving SM in some capacity. I think the use of Silent Snow, Secret Snow in Signal was a big clue about Slenderman's effect on people. What starts as a haunting of sorts gradually builds into a fascination, then an obsession, then devotion/servitude/possession/whatever. The mask, of course, would be an attempt on Alex's part to emulate his new, faceless god.

TTA's videos do not strike me as something that would have come from a benevolent entity. Creepy, almost threatening videos with vague clues and puzzles aren't how you communicate with someone you're serious about helping. It seems more like Alex/TTA is screwing with J, for his own amusement and/or to serve some kind of purpose for SM, whether it's killing J for publicizing Slenderman's existence, turning him into another slender-minion, or whatever. It would explain why the Masked Man, assuming it's TTA/Alex, wanted J to return, only to attack him.

The obvious glaring hole in my hypothesis is that TTA would have had the chance to harm J when he was recording his coughing fit during the first visit to the house. However, he didn't try to communicate with or assist J, either. Maybe, for some reason we don't know yet, TTA was unable or unwilling to interact with J at all during the first trip, hence the "SEE YOU" and "COME BACK/FIND ME" taunts.

Or my theory totally sucks and I'm not even close to right about any of this.

Omg, "Alex"'s twitter is such fail. It looks like it was made by some 12 year old who thinks he can get our attention this way. XD

I really hope this is just a way of establishing suspense, and totheark posts right when we think he's not going to; at the last minute.

I wouldn't doubt that J might start to get one or more people to be around him and help him, possibly as "protection". If he ever, ever went back (Unlikely) I think he would bring some help, he knows that there are malevolent entities at every possible turn from now on. If not, J would win the fool of the year award.
