I've kept trying out alternate spellings, and اعلمى (oa3lma) is "remember". أُعلمة (oa3lma) is "I'm aware of".

Can someone link me to Seigfried's profile so I can see this stuff myself? With the darkness forum (I don't think I'll ever get out of calling it that) locked up again, I can't find a link to his profile, and the search function in the forum isn't working.

Again, just to let people know I tried it:

A very common cipher is to put a keyword in front of the alphabet and then shift everything down accordingly skipping previously used letters. In the case of "origin" as a keyword, then the new alphabet is.

orignabcdefhjklmpqstuvwxyz

written over the alphabet becomes

orignabcdefhjklmpqstuvwxyz
abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz

But like everything else I've tried, no luck. Bolkel Olamaa decodes to:

gaonjo aofpff. Which is crap Smile

bolkel olamaa anagrams to "all a lame book"

I'm sure it's nothing. I just feel like trying stuff to keep momentum going in the group. Where is everybody? I sure as Hell can't get this by myself...

Dunno if it's anything.....but

The second I saw ORIGIN (which was just five minutes ago, haven't been checking for a few days) Darwin stuff came to mind (Origin of Species). Make of that what you will.

I can't contribute more right now. Super busy.
Good luck on this one team!

Hmm. That's an interesting take on it. My apologies for not helping as much as I would like to; I just recently got a job (\0/), I'm doing NaNoWriMo, and I've got school. I suspect that many of our other regulars are busy with similar pursuits; I know Kiri is doing NaNo as well.

The WriMo really doesn't take up too much of my time (about two hours every night) and I do have some free time for this, but... I don't know. I simply don't know what to do, or where to go with this clue. And I can never figure the anagrams out. Maybe I'll try working on that anyway.

There are a few codes for animal species. There's a 6 letter code made with the first 3 letters of the scientific name genus and species. I'll look into it.

Ive been quiet, as Im stumped... however, all this anagram talk got me thinking...

B O A E L

Maybe that's an anagram? I dont have access to a translator at the moment, so this is what I came up with.

Abole (not a word, but Able jumped out at me, and left with an "o".)
Ebola (sickness)
Leboa (Le boa ... snake? lol)

But I dont know what this has to do with Origin... or Balkel Olaama or however it's spelled.

SyFy had an apocalypse marathon yesterday, and today they're having a space wars marathon. I was watching Stargate: Ark of Truth, and they were all, the entire time, "ORIGIN IS TRUTH" and I was like "I wish this helped me in the ARG." >.> But we already had a truth clue. Darn.
