www.venicetheseries.com Trail head?
front page covered in cyphers

I came across this site quite by accident. The main page has a lot of codes and such, so very arg-ish looking to me. When you enter the site, it appears to be related to soap operas and a new online series, but nothing else I could find so far that appears arg-ish to me besides the front page. I haven't spent a lot of time on any of it, but pretty obvious that one of them is a website and several anagrams as well. whatcha think?

here's a few clickable links:
http://www.venicetheseries.com/

the background image is: http://www.venicetheseries.com/splash.jpg
title = Venice - The Series

I didn't realize I had to scroll down to find their link to the main site:
http://www.venicetheseries.com/index.php

And there you go. I guess it's a web series? I don't see any television network branding on first pass.

(simul-posted, heh, thanks for the wiki link)

I wouldn't call it an ARG, just the "extended experience" side of the entertainment property. I hear it's all the rage now.

The Morse code at the top of the sticky note at the top right decodes to:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
EETTTEETEEE

Hmm, now that I look at it, I think I decoded the morse wrong. I used a decoder that told me to put spaces between every character, so I did, but I did it between each dot and dash. I realize now that I wasn't supposed to do that, lol.

Putting the spaces in (what I think are) the proper spaces, I get .. -- -.. -... (which looks, to me, most like it is on the page) which decodes to
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
IMDB

Edit: Good find, Rev

Adding on that, figuring out the rest of that post-it,

Quote:
LETTERS:
14-13
ZERO
NUMBERS
HFEEHG

Translates as:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
NM 0 865587

leads to this IMDB page for actress Gina Tognoni: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0865587/

^Nice job! So, I'm guessing the "G." on the post card is Gina. Also, on the far right there's a piece of paper with "Gina" on it.

I've had no luck with anything else so far, though I think the "Odd characters can nag. We slave oil Eve! O'lava ogre proof" on the left is an (or three) anagram(s)

On Gina's IMDB page I found a link to this AfterEllen article about the web-series. Looks like there is an actress Gina involved playing a character named Sami, but also a character named Gina played by another actress. The references to Gina on the front page might be references to the character Gina, since she's the main character.

Also, the phone number on the newspaper clipping on the bottom of the image when Googled appears to be a real phone number for a real flea market.

Trying to figure out the web address on the blue paper with the heart in it. It seems like it's a cryptogram, not a ROT-#, but there aren't enough letters for me to figure it out easily, so this might take some time.

I was looking at it and shifting left two gives you: www.qvztbsy.xfc

Shifting left three gives you: vvv.puysarx.web

It could be completely wrong, but that's a weird coincidence.

I think each puzzle represents a character in the series. Maybe it was how they announced each new actor/character as they signed up for the series?

Juliet Charlie note -

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The Juliet Charlie is JC in the NATO phonetic alphabet. So it appears to be from a JC (Jordan Clarke/The Colonel?) The symbols are Delta Alpha Delta (DAD)
