 		In his new post "Reds" hatshoe is definitely talking about communists in general I think. (if this hasn't already been noticed by others.) When he's talking about the "claw is the sickle and the hammer is the one used to crack the shell" I don't really understand what he means but the communist symbol is red (thus "Reds") with a clawlike thing and a hammer crossing over each other.
O ya at the end when he says skadoobadop to the Tsar it's like the Tsare at the beginning except without the e... Everybody's probably noticed all of these things already but I felt like saying it because I don't feel like I'm contributing.
I emailed hatshoe about his name and it appears to be irrelevant seeing that he said "Thank you for your interest and kindness! Perhaps it is a shoe that is a hat? It has been quite calculated, however." in response. Um ya thats it.

The morse on Reds is translated incorrectly, rather thn T S A R E it actually spells T O A R T. It seems either Hatshoe got his dots and dashes mixed up or he's telling us something. I tried toart.html and it didn't work, I also tried to desteg and it didn't work with that as a pass. Hopefully he'll contact us soon so we can ask him about it.

There is a 'toart' on Twitter with no tweets, 6 followers and he is following 1 but I can't see because I'm not Twitterati. Could someone check it out?


I think that it's likely that hatshoe mistranslated it, because the translation of T S A R E is - ... .- .-. . so maybe he just mixed up the first three three dots which is S for hyphens and then the last dot which is E for a hyphen too. So if that's the case, it would indeed be - --- .- .-. - which is the morse code he wrote aka T O A R T

To your inquiry, typewriter, the toart Twitter account does not seem to be a lead. Following a few random people, a couple of them in Norwegian, with no apparent connection to hatshoe.

 		Interestingly enough, "Reds" has quite a few references to the song Rock Lobster by the B-52's.
Don't know if there is any significance to that or if it's just Hatshoe being weird.

Can anyone with more historical smarts than I have think of any actual historical event similar to the one Hatshoe describes?

soviet and watcher have been mentioned, truthful lies might have been, but i don't remember them, 4dfiction i never heard of

EDIT: lol, i see..
4dfiction is an arg-revealer thing, right?
EDIT2: VA, i doubt the event actually happened, though seems to me it might be somethign to do with sovietpremier?
EDIT3: and as far as i can see, google can't come up with much either

 		I think I can say with some confidence this event never occured. I think it is just a reference to the song. The question is, where do we go from here? I've still had no contact from him myself but I see others have. I'm not sure what he wants us to do but I'm hoping if he ever gets back to me he might reveal something.
