Got a reply from 5 simply asking my number. No puzzle, hmm. Well either way, I'm 14. Don't know if I was accepted but I was thanked for my submission. We'll see what 5 says.

I also contacted Five. Let's wait and see.

BTW. The solution to one puzzle was 12. And the solution to the other one? fear (vier (4)) divided by knee (ni (2) = 2? Was two the right answer or did we not needed it since the 12 was already a valid solve?

EDIT TO ADD:
Great work on the number puzzle. Rock On
Even though I am German I did not recognize this thing.

Double Post.

I infromed Darcy that we have contact and gave her also the link to the numeralogica website. She answered:
Quote:

No, no-one had mentioned that website to me! Thanks for letting me know.

What does "in numerus, silentium" mean?

Now I'm nervous... he's being moved at the end of the week... I guess
I should get ready then!

Darcy

So "in numerus, silentium" might be important.

I also got a reply from Five:
Quote:

Thank you for your submission, 505. I will inform you if you are selected.

Five

Seems like there is no identitiy puzzle needed anymore to be accepted.

ok, messages sent of

i'm no latin student, but if i were to guess, i'd say that in numerus, silentium meant something like, "in numbers, silently"

strange grammar.

for instance, strength in numbers is:

vires in numerus, not in numerus, vires.

however, if you are to look at this:

in vino veritas, then it sort of makes sense. the common misconception is to place a comma after vino.

thus we have in numerus silentium, or, in numbers there is silence.

and if you want to make this weirder, you would consider the anglo-saxan obsession of the PM and point to this:

Silence in Numbers - a poem by The Poet Valkryie

thought that is way too bizarre to be connected in any way.

Hi! I have been lurking for a while all over and since the start of this. You guys rock!

I thought I would add that "in numerus, silentium" means "upon total, silence"

Total of what not sure. It could just be an order such as 'everyone be quiet' or the start of another puzzle, like the total of answers found - 12 and 2?

numerus can mean total or numbers..

from what i can remember, quite a lot of latin words have multiple meanings, which makes quite a bit of latin translation guessing at context Razz

precisely, and given the context of numerologica (an organization obsessed with numbers) i would venture to guess that it translates to in numbers. the thematic in numbers there is silence fits with the common latin phrasing found in famous lines such as in wine there is truth, or in vino, veritas

Got a reply. I haven't been selected by Five yet but he said he'd let me know if I am. I hope I am, we'll see how it goes. Good luck everyone.

Quick question, do we have any unsolved things yet? I know we didn't quite work out those paintings or those images, but I figured they would come into play later, so are we just waiting on word from Five?

we worked out that the connnection between the paitings was weather, this obviously should tie into the stone being a tempest stone.

I do think we need to find out exactly what the stone is, and I have a niggling feeling I have seen that picture of that stone before, but no matter how much I rack my poor mummy brian I cant think where.

But those symbols, were they just to tell us about weather or do we think they would need to be used for something else? Would we be given those 8 symbols just to tell us it's weather or is there some deeper meaning?
