ok so something just popped into my head. so could the origin be the place that he started his hike across the country. so maybe the scramble is some location on the east coast or something.

Good job. Ebola was the only word I could get out of those letters but it didn't make much sense at the time xD

Hmm. "Ebola", "mabalo", "lokela", and "mabalolokela" don't work. Maybe "disease" or "outbreak"?

Well, "mabalo lokela" is the anagramed answer to "bolkel olamaa."

So if that's not the answer, then it has to be a hint to the answer.

We should check out articles about the woman. She was a schoolteacher in Yambuku. Died of ebola. It was the first documented case, or "the origin"
