Marble Hornets DVD
My gift to you all....

So, I had this idea, which involved scribbling the operator symbol on a DVD, slipping it and a Bendi Doll into an envelope, and mailing the package to unsuspecting friends and family who I thought might get a scare out of videos 1- 18 (with replies).

Then, I had a better idea, which involved allowing the masses to download the MH DVD I authored from my website so that they, too, would be able to prank people the way I plan to!

You can download it here.

Let me know if you mail it to anybody, or even if you just download and burn the VOB files to a DVD for your own enjoyment. The file is somewhat large, around 2GB, but it's well worth it! Enjoy!

What Dav said.

But that should get some AWESOME reactions. I'd love to do something like this, but unfortunately, the vast majority of my friends are about as immune to creepy things as I am, only with a general apathy or dislike toward the horror genre to compound it.

I've considered leaving SM-related scribblings around randomly, though, but never got around to it. It might similarly be fun to mail these to random people with no return address. Too awesome, except I'd not be able to witness the reactions.

My buddy is in another state right now, and I have considered going to his house and plastering his walls in Alex's drawings to leave him a welcome home gift.

As do I. I even did a little sketch of him in the woods for art class. I'm actually considering hiding him in all my art work for the rest of the year.

On topic: Thanks TC! this is great. I'll try to download it at school, or a friend's house later on next week.

Yeah, no problem.

The RAR file is an archive of a folder called "VIDEO_TS", which is what you're actually going to burn to a DVD. I use Nero, but I'm sure other burning programs have some method of getting VIDEO_TS folders onto a playable DVD. With Nero, I simply choose "Burn DVD from Video Files" and drag the VIDEO_TS folder into the project window.

If anyone else has helpful input, as well, or maybe an alternative/easier method, feel free to post it.

Once MH is finished I'm definitely going to download all the videos and make a DVD like that. This stuff is too good not to keep for posterity.
