He could have stabbed him when the camera was off. EFG tackles him, the camera gets turned off, EFG's on top of him...J throws him off again and uses the knife for a critical hit. J then runs off and drives like hell. EFG limps away with a knife as a new item for his scrapbook.

possible, but did you have to phrase it in a way that reminds me of pokemon?

I was actually thinking of Fallout. I think that's how EFG pushed J so far. He entered VATS mode and targeted his torso.

Seriously though...I got nothing.

I have to kinda agree. Purely from a game perspective, its become exhausting to try and decipher things that don't seem to reveal any concrete answers.

The atmosphere and story are great, but damn if the game design is flawed. And that's not even taking into account that the game didnt start until entry #9 or so.

I'm thinking they probably didn't even design it as an ARG, but rather as a film project. We just interpreted it to be an ARG. Besides the TTA responses, there really isn't even a semblance of ARG status. Really, you can't fault them for not creating something they had no intention of creating in the first place.

I agree. All the TTA content seems tacked on, especially when you consider that they don't really do anything other than comment upon J's videos. Its not even until Addition and Signal did they even contribute to the story.

The only real ARG-ish element, binary clock ciphers, haven't gone anywhere other than to maybe decode a single video into YAMA (which is still debatable). They gave us a cipher key - counting 1-10 - which is usually a setup for further clues using this method, but there's been nothing.

So IMHO, either we're really, really missing something here (which I doubt), or the ARG-aspect was an after thought.

does no one else realize that the TTA reply said to go upstairs? maybe TTA is trapped upstairs, and Masky was trying to stop jay from getting there.

Well, I think TTA is developing into a sub-plot of its own that I'm really enjoying, but yeah, it's really the only reason we can tentatively call the series an "ARG". Besides that, nothing. It would be like complaining that the Dionaea House stories weren't giving the "player" enough evidence to work on, despite the fact that it was never intended to be an ARG in the first place, even with the mystery-like plot.

Off-topic, but, uhm, Kev, is Slendy rubbing his head in your avatar? It made me giggle.

You know what'd be kind of funny?

If the MH people only tacked on TTA as a sort of plot device, and decided that A)They didn't really like the way it was going, or B)TTA had done what it was supposed to do, so they killed(?) him off.

You know how I know that J didn't stab anybody that night?

There wasn't blood on his hands.

Didn't you post this in like, three different topics?

And, we need some sort of update soon. We're starting to go in reverse here.
