I think it's very likely that SM was involved in the situation because J did not remember Entry #17 and SM was present. The house is full of SM-related activity, it would only be reasonable to assume so. Maybe I'm just jumping to conclusions but that's what I think.

Has it been suggested that Masky was/is under the influence of SM, and is a puppet which can wield SM's abilities/powers (perhaps not as strong, but yeah)? Sorta kinda like a drone Slendy can send out if, for whatever reason, he can't/won't make an appearance himself?

Again, the style of the videos. It seems reasonable that he could have been there, but there would have been some indication. The best example I can give is Entry 11- it's hard as hell to spot, but you can very distinctly see SM's silhouette in a window.

And, yea, entry 17 J couldn't remember and didn't see him, but for the camera, he was right fucking there the whole time.

Again, I hold fast on the idea that the way the videos are shot, anything that would be a potential major plot point (Say, the difference between TTA attacking or saving J) would be pretty obvious, to the viewer.

Don't get me wrong- there are some subtle things here and there, but something like that would be made clear.

It's been considered extensively, but along with everything else, no concrete proof to back it up. The general consensus is that Mask was TTA, on account of the Tweet and lack of video response in general.

I think it's just distortion that we cannot decipher....UNLESS TTA POSTS IT ON HIS NEXT VIDEO.

That could be the key in the entire argument is the audio. "listentoitall," "there was more" etc, stuff is cut out to hide things like if the audio completely changes EVERYTHING. Plus I think it was obvious that SM was there with the video/ audio distortion (even if SM was/ was linked to the doll) like if J puts the doll down and it was SM (maybe look in entry 14 to see if the doll is on the floor when the light's on). SM changes back behind J and boom, my theory.

I've been lurking for a while now, decided to sign up and give my two cents to the whole discussion.

From the last few videos, I'm wondering if J might not be following down the footsteps of Alex on this. Recording more often, trying to spot SM, and trying to find Brian and Alex all in the process of it. Something doesn't sit right with his interview of Tim, for example.

To our knowledge, he may have only started recording as he walked through the doors of the place he went to interview Tim, but he also may have cut both ends of the video short to save on extraneous footage. He very well could have been recording the entire time, prior to the interview.
Tim himself was acting suspiciously, as has been mentioned in this thread. The way he was fidgeting with the script, and the way his voice sounded strained when the tapes were brought up. If he doesn't outright know why, there is a chance he subconsciously remembers how eerie he felt on the set of MH, and how eerie things were.

Another thing that I've noticed is that TTA's videos are incredibly 'artsy' in a way, indicating that either TTA is trying to give off a certain personification of himself, or that he, not unlike Alex, is into that sort of artsy Film Student thing. It was written in the Wiki that Alex "liked that sort of thing", in regards to that particular kind of film. So who knows? Maybe TTA is Alex. Or I'm reading too far into things.

I don't have any conclusions or opinions on the masked guy in 18, but he could be one of about three established characters, Cameraman for MH, Alex, or Tim. I doubt it's Tim, Tim seems like he wants nothing to do with this, or very little. Cameraman for MH's a possibility since that's where Tim said he could be found, and Alex... well, Alex is a big ol' bean burrito of neuroses due to the whole thing.

Has anybody made a reasonable timeline of the tapes recently? As in, what order they were filmed in? I didn't get through all 171 pages, I must admit.

Hey guys, bit of wild speculation here.

The description for TTA's video "Addition" was "/eyes/" or something, wasn't it? A lot of people noted that the "e" was an addition to the description "/yes/" of an earlier video (can't remember which).
Then in Entry #18, a lot of people noted that whoever made the SM doll had made an addition to it: eyes.
Coincidence? Probably, but it was fun to notice.
