[QUESTION] outbound/inbound pages on ILB?

Yes, I searched and I didn't see anything, but I've been having one of those days, so trout lightly if you must, although i really believe I tried my best searching b4 hand.

Neway, has anyone else noticed that if you start visiting pages of the form:

http://www.ilovebees.com/outbound/xxxx.html OR
http://www.ilovebees.com/inbound/xxxx.html

where xxxx are extensions of currently existing pages (honey, index, aboutme, etc), you get sent to an all white page (with nothing in the source code)? Maybe just setup for the next stage? I cant seem to find nething on them now, but I did think it was interesting since they dont redirect to the 404 page. Neways...i ph34r the trout.

Edit: Topic tag. -SpaceBass

You get a blank page just because of the format of the URL. In other words, http://www.ilovebees.com/xxx/xxx.html yields the same blank page. It was a good idea though (it surprised me too, the first time I tried it, that I didn't get the 404 error page).

No "inbound" folder

You can see that there isn't any inbound folder on the web site, at least not yet.
If you type "www.ilovebees.com/outbound" it's corrected to "www.ilovebees.com/outbound/" and then to the 403. Typing "www.ilovebees.com/inbound", however, simply yields a 404.

Anyone else find it odd that there's a typo in the second line Question

It's not a typo. URI means Uniform Resource Identifier, and is a valid alternative to URL, as previously explained here and here.

(Say, is this one o' them newfangled flounder/boot thingamajiggers?)

403 Typo

I think the typo NMZ was referring to was the one in the 403 page. The error message is missing the 'Y' in "You do not have permission to access this webpage". It's missing in both the text of the page and in the title, but I don't think there's any info we can get from it. There's nothing else strange about the page, so without further evidence I think their sysadmins might've just made a typo. Or maybe they just sprinkled some random errors around the site to make it seem more like it got corrupted.

Considering that I was quoting the referal to the 403 and nothing more, yeah, you're right.

Seems like a silly way to imply corruption. *Shrug* I guess it's a flounder/boot Smile

403 goes 404

In this last wave of updates the 403 page returned from "www.ilovebees.com/outbound/" has been changed to return a 404 page. However, it isn't the normal 404 page that the server returns elsewhere on the site. It's the uncorrupted version with only the message, and no picture of Dana or text from the sleeping princess. This would seem like it's a static page placed there specifically to stop the 403 from coming up.
I don't know why they'd want to stop people from seeing the 403 with the typo but the timing seems a little weird because it just came up. It's come up a few times before in the forums though - I'm sure I'm just being paranoid imagining something larger behind it.
