In Epitaph One, they presented the idea of "upgrades," ie selling the Actives to be permanently imprinted with someone else's brainscan.

I'm assuming that currently that won't work because the brain eventually recovers.

But, in the Rossum video, they talk about combining the wisdom of (old) age with the vitality of youth, and how they are push toward that goal. Also, the Tokyo Creation Room file talks about multiple and long term imprints, and presumably the sum of both: MULTIPLE, LONG-TERM IMPRINTS. What i'm getting from this is that, given enough money, a client who is dying could have their brain scanned, then imprinted on an active, then live another 40-60 years, and then repeat the process, effectively giving that person immortality.

If this what they're going for, the Rossum higher-ups will definitely want use it on themselves to ensure that they remain in power virtually forever.

Of course, if Alex is feeling freaked out about this, and re-establishes and maintains contact with Sara before her business trip to Arizona (most likely to the Tucson Technical Institute) this could be averted. If Sara finds the cure for imprinting (whatever the last ingredients are) then even better. But assuming Alex ends up getting wiped anyway, Sara's our ace in the hole, and that will take precedence if Alex is lost.

I didn't mean we were there yet. I just mean that in trying to save Alex we might not completely be averting the Epitaph 1 future. Obviously the game's not over yet.

There seemed to be circles around Alex's face several times in the most recent video. I know there seems to be some interference in the videos, but could it be something else?

Sara's tweeted. She's feeling better, trying to get rest and telling Alex to stay safe.

Can someone remind me where we found out Matt contracts with Rossum? Was it in one of Alex's tweets?

From what I recall someone tweeted to Alex to double check Matt as she had mentioned he was a scientist and she said he did some small contract work for Rossum but she was getting really upset with the CTPs at that time.
