Nope. Leo was a Janus because he thought of these things with his janus creativity.

I think it could go either way, he was as much inventor as he was artist - absolutely brilliant mind.

And it's not like people haven't had their most visible talents outside what's considered normal for their branch. Benjamin Franklin is most well known for his writings and inventions - his political work really does take a back seat to those things despite how important his workings were.

A great example of this is that Franklin was one of the people considered for writing the Declaration of Independence. They ended up passing on him because they'd thought he'd make too many cutting remarks and subtle jokes at the King's expense. His sharp wit in writing prevented him from penning one of the most influential political documents ever. Instead it was passed to another great writer, Thomas Jefferson.

True but one of Leonardo's drawings is shown at the Janus homepage.

Re: UNITY!!!
I don't see anyone making up reasons why the branches should work together.I'll provide some.

sealoftruth wrote:
REASON 1: Ok, a lot of you say that the Tomases(no offense meant) are dumb. So the Ekats should really work with them to make up for, you know, the brains department, as well as have a little extra.
REASON 2:The Ekats rely too much on machines and their inventions, so the Tomas should be around to augment their muscle department and teach them that a real sense of success is from true, physical labor.
REASON 3:The Janus are too protective of their artworks. The Lucians should be around to ease off that overprotectiveness and teach them to be indifferent. I mean, you can't go around risking your branch's future because of a Picasso being filched from your wall. Artwork might be irreplaceable, yes, but the next generations will surely create masterpieces that can perhaps outshine those of history's greates talents. Whereareas in a contest like the 39 clues, you only get 1 chance.Take it or leave it.
REASON 4:Lucians, however, are too indifferent and overconfident. The Januses should really show these guys how to be more careful. Like Ian Kabra says, "Overconfidence is a curse."

Thank you for starting the unity list, sealoftruth. Reason 6 why we should unite is:
We should unite to fight those pesky Madrigals. If the Lucians are also scared of them, perhaps all of us should face the threat together.

More reasons to unite!

Reason 7 for unity:
The reason why the economy is going down is because we spend too much money on clue hunting until we are upsetting the global economy! We better put our resources together before we destroy the world! Laughing

Thank you to Ekatprof for getting us off topic in "Clues Within Clues" I have opened up this debate.

1) State 10 good reasons why your branch should win. These reasons should be different and debatable (e.g. Just because Ekats are the smartest is not an answer)

2) State 10 good reason why the other branches should not win and be specific.

3) State 10 good reasons why the branches should come together.

yeah (sarcastic) my 39 post Smile Very Happy i mean ekatprof

Why Ekats should win
Though I am a Lucian, Ekats are WAY better.

1) They aren't stupid like the Tomas.
2) The have changed humanity the most
3) They have the tools and brains to combine the clues
4) Everyone isn't against them.
5) Nobody has seen there Bermuda Triangle Stronghold, yet
6) Alistair has seen the dangers of past mistakes
7) Jonah Wizard hasn't been in 4 of the books, so far.
Cool The have invented an upper hand in everything
9) They didn't die yet, unless the Sterlings were Ekats.
10) The don't make as many enemies.

why ekats?

1 we have the AWESOME ROCKET SKATEBOARD.
2 we can figure out the amounts of each clue to use
3 we value ingenuity; strength is pointless, power is nice, art is ok.
4 we have the resources( microwaveable burrito!)
5 we know the past repeats itself
6 weapons. black holes. how can we lose?
7 we have the qualities of lucians without their tremendous egos.
8 we contribute the most to society(without us, this site wouldnt exist (no internet)
9 we dont lose our clues.
10 the other branches are all too dumb(Tomas) eccenteric(janus)
and bigheaded(obvious
