If it turn out to be that easy - that I could guess the location a week ago - then it should fairly simple to find the rest.

There are 7 pods and there just happens to be 4 Legolands and 3 LEGO Imagination Centers in the world:

KNOWN
Pod 1: Legoland Germany (confirmed)
Pod 2: LEGO Imagination Center, Downtown Disney, FL (suspected)

POSSIBLE
Pod #: Legoland Denmark
Pod #: Legoland UK
Pod #: Legoland CA
Pod #: LEGO Imagination Center, Downtown Disney, CA
Pod #: LEGO Imagination Center, Mall of the Americas, MN

But then again, they also have 43 retail stores according to Wikipedia:

 		I can't go myself, but I have friends that live at Celebration (less than one mile away) that could probably roll on it in a heartbeat.

They're not ARG-ers though, so I'm not sure if they'll understand what to do with it if they got it. Reluctantly, I might prefer you retrieving it for that reason alone; that way I'm sure we'll get the results we need here.

 		I don't think they're really looking for hardcore ARGers to get all 7 physical pods. All that really needs to be put on the site is the code, and after the pod is given out to the first to turn up, they'll still give out the code to others. Far as I'm concerned, the pods themselves (and any unique bricks they may or may not contain) are a bonus.

btw, kevrock, Legoland Billund (the first pod location) is the Denmark one, not the German one. I'd guess there's a German version of the site because the German one is upcoming Wink

ETA: If it's ~1 pod a month, I'm guessing the UK one won't be for a while. While the park is open a few weekends until early December for shopping, it's otherwise closed for the winter until March 20th 2010.

LEGO Universe, the MMO this is associated with, is scheduled (now) to be released mid-2010, so that time-frame is about right.

 		Two new updates! First one appears to be a document from the pod's onboard computers, written in the same code/language as the plate. I have taken the liberty of translating:

It cuts off there. Did the pilot lose motion at this point or was he interrupted by something else?

By the way, "Per aspera ad astra" means "to the stars through difficulties" and was a motto of the Apollo 1 mission.

The pilot's picture also has characters of the previously mentioned KIX code at the bottom, but it's just the same code again, QVNSMQ.
