I adore Dollhouse, and would love to see the ratings go up and see it saved. If this ARG is intended to draw attention to DH, then it would seem that talking openly and trying to turn an appropriate hashtag term into a trending topic would be more helpful than secrecy.

I have posted all communications between myself and Alex, Matt and Sara. If you wish to communcate with them directly and openly please do so. The private communication began as directed by the PM, however if you wish to take it another route go ahead.

I would hope that we're not missing anything due to people keeping it secret.

I would guess that the PM is keeping track of the info that's getting out there (if nothing else, by the clues we've solved), and if anyone was holding onto it, it'd be released another way. I'll admit, I've thought about this too, but the folks that have received the "private messages," at least as far as I know, are also folks who appear to share pretty readily.

Most who are familiar with the ARG format know that without sharing information there is no game.

I have created a Story so far thread, please feel free to let me know if I have missed any information or if there are any gaps in the timeline.

http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=28759

All communication I have received has been shared, and any information I have seen from other players has also been included and credited.

You make a good point, but I think the reason it hasn't occurred to anyone else is simply that they've come to terms with it.

I would guess that with few exceptions most ARGs involve only dedicated fans. The Why So Serious events are probably the biggest thing of this type to ever hit the more general public, but then look at the marketing power behind it. While this has been a great deal of fun, I don't think it will have had much effect on bringing new people into the audience. I'd be a little surprised if that was even the plan, considering some of the clues.

And while some of the communication has happened over private email, I don't think any of the players have tried to keep anything hidden. I'm pretty certain all the information related to the game has been posted in this thread, and any of the characters could have been contacted by anyone. Information has been posted here about as quickly as its been discovered.

This is the first ARG I've really been involved in (though I've been aware of them for some time) so perhaps that colours my perspective.

Also, there have been consistent hash tags used on Twitter and while the in character chat isn't happening as much there the last couple days, the ooc discussion is still going on.

At this point, nothing is really going to save the show. This seems to be a gift for the fans who held on the whole time and to tide us over while it is off the air. Supposedly something from the ARG is going to feature into the next episode which airs on Dec. 4th.

We are we now?

i assume we are at a standstill st the moment, waiting to see what happens tomorrow. this is a list of questions i have, since i have basically been absent from this for the past two days.

-it was identified before the 59002 was a valid zip code for a small town in Montana, which happens to be just north of Billings. do you know the location of the warehouse? is it still there? (will there be "top men"? sorry, i had to)

-do we know anything about william morrow?

-do we have any other information on the others listed in the RCo documents?

-has SK found any more info? wasnt there "sensitive info" there to be found?

-has anyone heard back on the condition of RH and family?

-how much stock should we put into matt's warnings?

-did we get anywhere with the freyja references?

ok, im done with my rant for now...

I went to Google Maps and looked around; you can get a Street View there, but it seems pretty darned desolate and empty. I didn't look that much or that closely.

I've been wondering if "William Morrow" is "William Morley", if maybe he changed his name or was given a new identity. Morley just died of a "heart attack" at 84, which would put him in his late 30s during the events of 1962-1963.

- The warehouse seems to be close to the 59002 zip code. Still not sure if the number is important *as* a zip code. Seems to me like returning to the warehouse would be a good idea.

- I think William Morley is William Morrow. William Morrow was involved in the experiments to do with case 59002, an enthusiastic scientist of "dubious morals." Robert went to watch over him in the nursing home where Morrow was currently living. Morrow then died of an apparent cardiac arrest.

- From the email I received the other day (posted in this thread), "Bobby believes that the other two persons may have knowledge in that regard as well, however we do not have contact information for them."

- last I knew Sara was trying to get a sample of the rose / rose hip from WTF and still looking around Tuscon. She apparently told chixor she was investigating the rubble site today, but didn't seem to say what she found, if anything.

- Believe RH is currently MIA.

- My impression is that Matt wants to do good by Alex after having done much wrong, but I think he may be misguided at best. (And a trap at worst.)

- Had a ton of avenues to explore re Syr/Freyja, but nothing to really indicate the right one.

Re: We are we now?

Hopefully I can answer some of these questions for you.

-it was identified before the 59002 was a valid zip code for a small town in Montana, which happens to be just north of Billings. do you know the location of the warehouse? is it still there? (will there be "top men"? sorry, i had to)

No evidence of a warehouse, I believe either @Heiti, Eve or @MJinMontana had done some investigating and found that the location was a tiny patch of dusty land.

-do we know anything about william morrow?
William Morrow was old and in a retirement home. From the documents that we received from Robert he was working on the 59002 case in 1964 onwards. Robert wouldnt communicate with anyone directly, we only know that we got word on Friday that he had passed away.

-do we have any other information on the others listed in the RCo documents?

We currently do not know who these two people are.
* Las Cruces, NM: Estevez, J.
* Dallas, TX: Warner, G.

-has SK found any more info? wasnt there "sensitive info" there to be found?

I asked but did not receive a reply, I am assuming we are not supposed to receive any information today/tonight.

-has anyone heard back on the condition of RH and family?

Sara responded today that Robert was over an hour late in arriving back to his family. No updates after this.

-how much stock should we put into matt's warnings?

At the moment, no one seems convinced that Matt is trustworthy, we are waiting on him providing proof.

-did we get anywhere with the freyja references?

Nope.

ok, im done with my rant for now..

No rant, this is why I have been attempting to gather information in the SSF thread, as i know how frustrating it can be when real life gets in the way and takes you away from the game for a while.

Hop on back in, the water is nice and warm Smile

I am sorry to inform you that Robert Hunter now appears to be missing as well. I've communicated with his family who are safe but anxious.
