Interesting e-mail. Obviuosly I made a mistake in the info I sent to scott by accident, but he acted obliviuos so it's all good. I asked him a few simple questions and will post my email and his when he writes back... The diagram theory of Not Jacks is interesting, how did he see scotts diagram though? MAybe these two are in ca-hootz with eachother. Considering, if a this world in another universe had or was just being created, MAYBE that is what is meant by EDEN. Considering the Garden of Eden was earth in the begining, right???

Danilo. Could be an introduction or foreshadowing for a future character. Probably best for the time being not to mention to Scott that you know he's responsible for Jack's death, as he seemed to confess to me "out of guilt" and it would be best not to "spook" him just yet.

The idea as it's been presented so far is that Jack was murdered by Scott and six other men. Straight up knifed. They did it to force him to transcend to another plane of existence, or a different universe, and now Jack exists as the man in the robe exists... they are both human, but have discovered how to revert, or something like that. We don't know a lot about it at the moment.

BTW thanks for clarifying PUNCHLINE, it helps alot to know that info.... and the man in the robe seems to be able to do this whenever hewants huh? Very odd he's targeting John. This is starting to get creepy...And obviuosly John says Jack isn't out for revenge, so who is going to kill Scott? TMIR??? DANILO? JOHN? Maybe scott will commit suicid out of greif.

 		Wow, first of all, Happy Thanksgiving everyone! This has really come along since the four family dinners I've been running around to today. Danilo anagrams into 'An Idol,' not sure if it's relevant, but this is centered around a theology class.

Also, some speculation. If anyone is familiar with the multiple universe theory as it relates to physics, it works thusly:

Every time there is a decision to be made, an outcome yet unknown to be yielded, all possible outcomes are in a state of 'superposition.' This means that until an observation is made to determine which outcome won out, the mathematic solutions determine that all possible outcomes are true. I know I'm not the best at explaining this, but if you read up on the Schroedinger's Cat thought experiment, you may be able to grasp it better.

Long story short, there is a cat, and a vial of some deadly gas sealed in a lead box. There is also a mechanism to break the vial and kill the cat with the gas. The mechanism is set to go off dependent on a geiger counter, which is monitoring a radioactive isotope with a calculable half-life.

Now, because all of this is sealed in a lead box, scientists can't observe to see whether the isotope has decayed, alerting the geiger counter, triggering the mechanism, and killing the cat. However, because the half-life of the isotope is calculable, you would think that math would be able to determine the state of things, which is when it gets weird. The equation ends up equaling itself out, which means that according to the math, the cat is both alive and dead. This is what being in a state of superposition means. The outcome then reveals itself upon observation, and the state of superposition is gone.

So some scientists took this result and ran with it. They went on to say that if the math states the cat is both alive and dead, then there must be two separate but equal universes where both outcomes transpire, because it's the only possibility that allows for the equations to remain true.

Anyway, what I mean by all of this, is that maybe Jack, and the Man in the Robe have figured out how to shift their consciousness from one universe to the next. Maybe Jack shifted his consciousness to a universe where he wasn't stabbed to death by Scott and his group.

Also, maybe the Man in the Robe is more experienced because he can shift not only his consciousness, but his whole form into other dimensions. This would be the thing that Jack needs to learn in order to surpass him, how to shift back into our universe without having a body here to control.

ETA: Schroedinger's Cat was a thought experiment, no actual cats were harmed in the making of quantum physics and multiple universe theories! Laughing
