Now I feel stupid. I thought the picture on the first page of the site was portraits, now it's obviously a tarot spread.

If 15, the Devil, rules Elizabeth, is she possessed?

Anyways, 16 is something that blinds Elizabath according to Nuri. I'm guessing this is either the girl or someone who holds her weakness.

Going by the tarot cards, 16 is the Tower.

Quote:
The Tower is rubble, only rocks remaining. Stunned and shaken to the core, the Fool experiences grief, profound fear and disbelief. But also, a strange clarity of vision, as if his inner eye has finally opened. He tore down his resistance to change and sacrifice (Hanged man), then broke free of his fear and preconceptions of death (Death); he dissolved his belief that opposites cannot be merged (Temperance) and shattered the chains of ambition and desire (The Devil). But here and now, he has done what was hardest: destroyed the lies he held about himself. What's left is the bare, absolute truth. On this he can rebuild his soul.

Quote:
No card scares a Tarot reader like the Tower - or the person they're reading for if that person knows anything about Tarot cards. It is however one of the clearest cards when it comes to meaning. False structures, false institutions, false beliefs are going to come tumbling down, suddenly, violently and all at once. What's important to remember as a tarot reader is that the one you're reading for likely does not know that something is false. Not yet.

Words on new page are rot or vignere. Something interesting though. Ever heard of Barroness Emmuska Orczy? She was a writer of HUNGARIAN descent. She wrote The Scarlet Pimpernel. I think there is a definite connection we're supposed to find.

The words are the Hungarian text called the Funeral Sermon and Prayer. I posted the link to a translation above, but it doesn't have the translation for the last line. Here's what it does have:

Quote:
Ye see, my brethren, with your eyes, what we are! Behold, we are dust and ashes. Through His divine grace the Lord God first made our ancestor, Adam, and gave him the Paradise of Eden for his home. And of all the fruits of Paradise, He bade him live, forbidding to him only the fruit of one tree, yet telling him, why he should not eat of it: "Lo, on the day thou eatest of this fruit, thou shalt die the death of deaths." Adam had heard of his death from his Creator-God, yet he forgot. He yielded to the Devil's allurement, and ate of the forbidden fruit, and in that fruit he partook of death. And so bitter was the juice of that fruit, it (almost?) burst their throats. Not only for himself, but for all his race he ate death. In anger, God cast him into this world of toil, and he became the nest of death and damnation, for all his kind. Who shalt be those? We are them.

As ye see with thy eyes too: lo, no man shalt pass this pit, lo, we all walk to that. Let us pray our Lord God's mercy of this soul to clement it, and mercy it, and forgive all sins of his! And let us pray the Holy Lady Mary and the Blessed Michael Archangel and all angels to pray for him! And let us pray the Lord Saint Peter who was given the might to release and to tie to release all sins of his. And pray all hallows to be on his aid when in front of our Lord, that God may forgive his sins for their prayer! And free him from all haunts of Devil and torments of Hell and lead him to peace of Paradise and give him way to the Heavens and part in all goods! And cry to our Lord thrice: mercy, Lord!

[prayer part not translated]

Elizabath has a heebie-jeebie update. Also, found This Page which translates the entire Prayer (via Castilian) into English.

Such interesting research, dakabt and hope someone has good luck finding Blanca. Have had none.

I don't think anyone is going to find her for a while. Isn't finding her the whole point of the game?

If we found her now wouldn't it be like "Oh, thank goodness, there you are! Uhm, ok. So....awkward. What do we do now?"

It's like, end game.

Also, read like ALL of that Baroness's stories, none really seem to relate directly, although the Scarlet Pimpernel has a red in the title. Going to keep looking through them once I get home though.

edit:
"I do like him."

*looks at Rad* Grosssss.

^lol

I recently got followed on twitter by http://twitter.com/TheGoodMorning They sent a tweet to me that says "Aki másnak vermet ás, maga esik bele" which is a Hungarian proverb meaning "If you dig a hole for someone else you'll fall into it." I'm thinking this might be Blanca, but I'm not sure. All her other tweets are to other people, and they all are "Jó reggelt", meaning Good morning.

EDIT: TheGoodMorning's location (Amit nem tudunk az nem fáj) means What we don't know doesn't hurt, and the bio (Aki kíváncsi, hamar megöregszik) means "who is curious, will get old quickly", and I guess is the Hungarian equivalent of "curiosity killed the cat".

I left a comment on Elizabath's blog. If RAD is her go-to guy now, he can work the trust and good faith angle.

I'm going to try to piss her off the best I can.

She doesn't seem to rational, maybe if she's super angry and not thinking right, she'll let something slip.

^That's worth a try, she does seem pretty quick to anger.

After I said this to TheGoodMorning:
Quote:
I'll be careful, then. Are you Blanca?

They said:
Quote:
Beszélsz angolul?
Which, to the best of the online translator's knowledge, means something like "Do you speak english?" But that doesn't really make sense, seeing as how I just spoke in English... Dunno Maybe they meant to ask if I speak Hungarian.

New post on Elizabath's wordpress. Oderint dum metuant means Let them hate so long as they fear, and apparently was a favorite saying of Caligula.

While Eliza doesn't acknowledge Six's blog comment it appears the new entry titled What happened to one through five? is her reply to it saying she couldn't give a toss how evil we find her. Sorta witty in an obscene way.

Damn, you're quick. I didn't even see that yet.

I can't think of how to piss her off without questioning her taste in men, and I don't want to insult Mr. Rad! Embarassed

ROFL. Likely when they disappoint Eliza does examine "her taste in men"...by exsanguining them. Luck. Rad Laughing

Hey, don't worry, I won't be insulted Wink . In fact, I think it'd be a good idea to question about her taste in men, if you want to make her mad. Seems like it's a possible insecurity of hers, what with the scathing talk about how cowardly Hunter is.

EDIT: After saying this to Elizabath:
Quote:
You, a fan of Caligula? Why, I never would have guessed Wink
I've had no luck finding the troublesome girl yet, though I sense I may be close.

She said:
Quote:
Caligula was a noble man of many successes! It was only those who were too weak and selfish to appreciate his deeds that painted him as such a tyrant. Evil exists only in the minds of men who are plagued with greed.

You are an admirable soldier yourself, Rad. Remember when they doubt you, a great man must turn his adversities into advantages. As I told you, once you begin a great work, many with envy. There may be a great prize waiting for you at the end of all of this.
