In my last email to Daniel Cooper, I implied we may have a way to get the items to an extremely "southern" location. And without us his scientist friend may as well be on the "moon". My plan is to ask Yoon Young for assistance with the items, when she returns to the Antarctic. I was thinking she might be able to slip the items in the supplies that are left for the Orange team once a month.
Anyways, I did hear back from Daniel Cooper...

I'm hoping someone else will contact him. I have a couple of really busy days ahead and don't have time to get back to him or watch for a reply for now. I'm going to post a reply on Fritz's blog to let him know what I've done. I hope he's okay with it.

Neither Fritz nor Yoon Young have posted any comment, so it's hard to tell what they think. Following your lead I sent Daniel another mail, yesterday. I mentioned your plan and asked what he and Wayne are prepared to offer us in return (information-wise). I'm still waiting for a reply.

I'm sorry there isn't more interest, because I haven't been this interested in a plot for a very long time and have enjoyed it thus far. But I get the feeling that, while initially there might have been a few PMs, this campaign may have ended up falling in the lap of one person . Just a feeling...
Or none

Yeah.. I'm thinking the same about now. It's too bad.. I actually haven't played much on this side of the curtain for some time. PMed a few games with Dave and got spoiled being on the other side, things just didn't hold the same "mystery" after that...lol. But this particular storyline caught my attention, and I thought it was very well done, well researched and well "characterized". I'm amazed at the effort put into the Linian Exhibit as well.
Too bad but it seems to have come to a standstill.

It's alive! Don't give up so soon! I found this in my mailbox this morning:

Ms. McMillan,
I understand your mistrusting me, but know that everything I've done has been with the greater goal in mind. Lyman simply isn't willing to face the reality of the situation and do what is necessary.
I am currently unable to contact Dr. Moon, but I believe I have heard him mention Dr. Park. As time is of the essence, I'm willing to take a risk with her. We need to arrange a hand-off of the items. I'm quite certain that I'm already under some kind of surveillance, so the drop will need to be well planned. We cannot allow these items to fall into enemy hands. I trust I can count on your assistance in arranging this.
Awaiting your response,
Daniel Cooper
Minister of Information
So I guess our next step should be talking to Yoon Young again.

Yay!
ETA* I sent another email to Daniel this morning mentioning the correspondence with Trillian and telling him he may have to get rid of the items sooner rather than later. That some BSAI members are now stateside and they may have made a connection between him and Dr. Moon. I even suggested he mail the items to us for safe keeping. Here's his reply...

We're nearing a critical point. I have most definitely felt eyes on me, though I must admit I have yet to see them. I have already placed the items in a secure location. I fear that any further involvement from me will jeopardize the endeavor. Thus I slip into the shadows. It is up to you and Dr. Park now.
The location will reveal itself as plans are made. Watch for my signals.
D.C.
I guess now we wait for a signal/sign.

I sent a copy of Cooper's mail to Dr. Park. Let's see what she has to say about it.
Side note: I asked Cooper about the threatening message that Littleton mentioned. He says it wasn't him, so it's probably safe to assume, that Jared is the one watching the BSAI investigators.
Side note II: Are those 'Merry Christmas'-posts on rootsofatree SPAM?

I don't see any Merry Christmas posts on rootsofatree, so if they were removed, I guess it was spam.

Yes, they are gone now.
Quick update (sorry, I'm in a hurry): Yoon Young has confirmed that she'll help with our plan and I've informed Daniel Cooper.
Here's his reply:

My goal is to inconvenience our carrier as little as possible, and to have the items in the open for as short a time as possible. We will need an intermediary to recover the items from the secure location and deliver them to Dr. Park as she heads south.

Any ideas what we shall do next? His reply to enaxor seems to be quite different from the one he gave me...

Okay, by now I'm convinced that this ARG's dead. No answer from Yoon Young and lots of SPAM posts on rootsofatree... It's really a shame, I enjoyed this one very much and <3 the story and design.
Anyway, thanks PM(s), you did a great job!!! I'm sorry that it didn't work out as planned and that this didn't get more attention.

Ditto. But I would love to hear from the PMs. As a player, I have many unanswered questions about the game.

New on Rootsofatree:

Speaking of that ticking clock , the timer will hit zero in about 35 hours: 2/27/12 midnight.

I doubt anything changed. The link booba posted above explains a bit about the game and why it abruptly ended or went into stasis. I just remembered that the clock was suppose to expire in late February, and posted it as a reminder of a well done game.
