Pssh, I was on that the minute it was posted! Thanks though! I have a feeling there is going to be quite the mad dash by a lot of people on Thursday. Shocked

Anyone have a Twitter or something we could follow for updates on Thursday? I live in MD, it's gonna be kinda hard to get out there...

I just thought I'd mention that in minifig-language, filled in dots mean a capital letter and hollow ones mean a lower case letter. The final i is lower case so it would be the start of a word.

Another thing, on the German site, under the translated picture it says something about N S E W, even though the letters in that picture are t ä M i.

Google translator says:
We have received an unbelievable number of emails with the translation of the Minifig alphabet and decoding of image descriptions.
Prima gemacht! Some of you have our attention on four gray letters in the data, namely N, S, W and E. We do not know what they mean, but we give you the good advice - it shapes you a! We are convinced that they are part of a larger message. Keep it up!

Hmm... something about shapes? Maybe they made a mistake and just randomly highlighted the German ones. But why would they highlight them at all then?

Ah, sure! Here you go:

I will try and post some updates tomorrow as I head out and hopefully secure a pod.

Is the southeast the only location so far that has a pod up?

Yep, the pod tomorrow is the first one to hit the public. That will leave 5 additional pods. There was a little less than a month between the discovery of the first pod and the touch down of pod #2. If that timeframe stays true pod #3 should touch down somewhere around the beginning of January. As to it's location, who knows...?

Ok well, I guess I will wait to see if anything comes up on the west side of the country

They see to imply that it will hit areas of "high LEGO concentration". In other words, LEGO theme parks or stores.

There's one in Anaheim, at Downtown Disney. Only one I can think of on the "west side".

If current guesses are anything to go by, I'd schedule a trip to California some time in early 2010...

Pod #: Legoland CA
Pod #: LEGO Imagination Center, Downtown Disney, CA

bradfordrant: POD 2 LOCATION CONFIRMED . . . Pod 2 will land at the LEGO Imagination Centre in Downtown Disney, Orlando. Exact time not yet ascertained.

Guess who's already standing outside waiting for it to open at 9:30?!

UPDATE: About 10 people in line now, all talking about the pod. It's going to suck if I got here first and don't get this thing... Confused

UPDATE II: Store opened and I spoke with the guy who opened the door. The Pod isn't due for another 2 hours or so and I was basically told to stick around. It's going to be pretty upsetting if I got here at 8 a.m. and someone else walks out with it. Oh well, the store is pretty cool and has some awesome displays, that count's for something right?
