my_family summary:
Someone (person A) talking to someone else(person B)
Pretty sure Person A is Kamal.
They talk about getting a chatter account. Then about knowing govt. ID numbers. Then about getting someone's (Kamal's?) family here.

code_nothing
.wav file: (thanks Shontu!)
It was Jan talking to her "dad" James. Apparently Duane (who she's friends with… his dad had the gate pass from the first memory fragment story) came by or something. Jan doesn't really like Duane hitting on her. Jan asks her dad in a humorus/sarcastic voice "Aren't you supposed to scare guys like that away" (more or less what she said). James senses Jan wants to talk. She says its nothing (dad asks "real nothing or code nothing" hence the wav file name), but then opens up… she says that she wishes her "dad' would talk more about his past (war stores and such). James is a bit uncomfortable (impression I got) about talking about his past. He asks Jan if she'd like him to be more like the "d-mobs"(?) and sit around the house all day drinking and telling stories. Jan says "yah, sometimes" (more or less).

accessorize
Some guy talking to Jan about ripping the sleeves off her dad's shirts; she's just accessorizing; then he asks her to go with him somewhere (kinda threatening) she refuses

Are you sure he didn't say "demob"? "To demob" means to go home from the army. A "demob" is probably someone who's just demobbed.

As in demobilized? Yes, "demob" sounds right (from what I can remember hearing).

Could that lead us to assume that James J. hasn't been demobed, and thus is still active in the military?

To_dO and pigeons To do is the most interesting one.
Someone (a female) is being beaten/tortured then you hear a series of beeps indicating the end of a recording or monitor, then a female voice (presumably Jan) says what do you want me to do?
She's being coerced into using her abilities for some goal.
Pigeon
Jan: High Marta, what you got today?
Marta: Pigeon or ??Fish?
Jan: ??? Any specials
Marta: ???
Jan: that was a long time ago, I was much younger then

It is complete 3/3. Yay!!
I won't post the link, but everyone can go to hivekuts.html and listen to it. I'm sure someone will be hosting it somewhere. And it continues the Jersey/Durga storyline.

W00T! the_human_heart is up! It's Jersey and Durga again, and Jersey has located a sound file of old music (sounds like a non-existent 70's sitcom theme to me ) and he's talking about his dad, who's gone most of the time, but how music like this made him feel like he knew what he was fighting for. That guys around this time (the music time) knew people, knew "the human heart". And then he tells Durga he wishes he hadn't found out about his mom.
Here's the transcript of "the_human_heart"
START-UP-WINDING SOUND
Jersey: Wait, hang on! Ohh! This bit is great!
(bad seventies elevator music)
Jersey: My dad loves this stuff. He says- Well, he's away a lot, like years at a time... it drives him crazy. He says this stuff reminds him what he's fighting for.
Durga: I don't understand.
Jersey: That he can connect. He can listen to this stuff and imagine the people who made it. They cared about the same things we do: Making a buck, finding a girl, rooting for the home team. These old guys, they really knew people. They knew the human heart... that's what my dad says.
Durga: Why are you telling me this?
J: It's a long way away, ya know... out to wherever he is... he gets lonely out there. ... I wish you hadn't told me...
Durga: What?
Jersey: About my mom.
Durga: Oh.

Can we get a transcript? I'm at work and can't hear the sound files.
[EDIT] Sweetness. You must have been editing it while I was typing.

wow, man. Jersey's voice acting has gotten a bit better. at least there are no more hoodlum-esque outbursts of "DAMN!" like the last set. hehe.

the_human_heart.wav It begins with a power-up sound. So, it would seem to be the first .wav in a new thread that occurs sometime after durga.wav.

Sorry for cross-posting, but I think we might want to check into the song/songwriter for the tune that Jersey is playing. Might be a clue, might be nothing, but you never know.
