I like this theory because it manages to explain the entire story. I'm kind of sick of people posting random speculation/wild theories that may explain a certain video, but falls apart in the grand scheme of things. Also it seems plausible.

It certainly makes some sense but do you think Alex deliberately put the gun shell in the house/blood in the sink, then appear in 14 covered in blood just to entice J into it? I mean he may have been the anonymous tip to the house but I think something more sinister happened to Alex, maybe he shot himself and his dead body is being used as a tool by slender man i.e. the masked man/totheark

Slenderman almost NEVER, EVER talks. In fact, I think he only did it in one of the stories, and never in the videos.

if you wanna go for the blood.. lets think about the blood:

in entry 14 he probably got a hit on the head and it caused him to bleed (if it was a laceration he probably didnt feel it hurtin or bleeding but he couldve had a massive headache). But lets face it, the bleeding isnt that bad considering the timespan:

Minute 1: Get hit, bleeding begins
Minute 32: Blood went down the face, not very much blood

Also notice the ammount of blood on the ground (Entry 16) and the the ammount of blood in the sink. There is kinda the ammount of a weak nosebleed on the ground but the ammount of a huge gushing nosebleed in the sink.

This all is doesnt fit.. unless we think over something.

In Entry 14, J didnt say if the video jumpcutted or if he turned the cam around the change the tape. He just said 32 minutes passed. What if
1. the tape froze like in some other videos
2. Alex rewound to see what the cam had on
3. J lied to us and left out something

I like the 3rd option much, since totheark posted the video Messages and tells somebody has been keeping secrets which could only be Tim or Jay. I dont see Tim in the picture at the end. Tim has more destinctive facial features. I cant really tell for Jay though.
I say Jay is keepin something from us. Something he assumes to be dangerous and only Alex knows that because, well, he made the tapes.
Also back to the options, I´d say we could even combine all options together and it still makes sense.
(Also Jay never showed us what pills he took with him or how the drawings look like or if the bullet was used)

As for the bloodstaines. I cant get over the fact that the ammount on the ground is lower then the ammount in the sink, unless its a gushing would and the wounded person did cover up the wound (or its nosebleed). If its the wound on the head from Alex, it wouldnt even drip (the blood wasnt even flowing down his face, it was already dry).
Here comes another part of my theory: 2 different houses.
Its not rare that some houses might look alike in America. Even here in Germany we have alot of houses who look alike inside. I will go for the red shelf thing. I believe they are 2 different shelves. I´d like to agree with gonzaw there.

So I´d say, one house from the earlier entries is Alex house. The house Jay visited is mostly Brians house. Now we know less about Brian. He could also have spotted Slender and couldve fallen for him and maybe recorded him too but thats too vague and cannot be said.
We just have to wait for more material
