Tried ROT 13 got nothing.........Uh.....I don't know where else to go to try and decipher what Logan left us.

It's just another way of saying Yggdrasil. Nothing coded about it. Just google IGDRUASILL. Miss out the HE as that's refering to SM. Igdruasill is how you'd pronounce it. You know, I instead of Y etc.

Ah, thanks.

But, HE Yggdrasil? Is that what we are suppose to take from it or figure out. I been dabbling into it further and further with each mention of the Norse Mythology. What theories have we developed with Norse Mythology involved.

No, Logan seems to refer to SM as HE or HIM. Ignore the HE completely. I think he's just pointing out the tree, check the link I posted in the comments section of JAF, it'll take you to a page that explains the 9 worlds seen in one of the books. That should also explain why Logan drew that.

Thanks man, clears up some things.

lol yep. I've been sat here all night reading about Yggdrasil.......slight problem I have. Once I learn about something I always want to know EVERYTHING about it. Suppose it'll help when my daughter starts school lol.

My problem is, I have way too many tabs opened on my browser with a thousand different things. But, the only thing i didn't get is how is this helping us to the next step. Unless, it is "homework" for the next clue.

We haven't heard from Josh lately, have we?

@Onmyo_HariHara: True. It does seem like it could be SM, though we shouldn't put too much into it.

I think it may be a fake. Not only does Josh have access to the blog via Logan's username and password, and wouldn't need to reply via a comment, but note the parentheses that are used rather than brackets, like in Logan's original post. It's probably a giveaway mistake.

I'm probably just begging to be trouted, but...
HEIGDRUASILL as a cryptogram?

I do like the Norse mythos crossover idea, but just in case this spurs some new thoughts or good ideas:

HEIGDRUASILL works as a cryptogram for the words

DREAMFULNESS
POETICALNESS
and
THINK YOU WILL.

The probable-gamejack comments don't have working cryptograms in the caps letters.

Even I'm not sold that this is a big break - just an idea that there may be other ways to decode the message?

So I take it anything that connects Marble Hornets with JAF is automatically labeled coincidence and therefore trout?

Yeah, because they're not the same game. Both MH and JAF have been going on since this summer, and if they were the same game, there would be more evidence that the underlying mythologies in both universes are the same, but they're not.

1. Just Another Fool's Slender Man has appeared in locations very far apart geographically (Iraq, upstate New York), while Marble Hornets has only linked Slender Man to the specific location in which Alex was filming his movie in 2006. MH's SM is a much more localized phenomenon.

2. Just Another Fool is full of references to Norse Mythology/Germanic paganism (quoting the Eddas, talking about Yggdrasil, the possible reference to Odin with Logan's hand over his eye, etc). Marble Hornets has not made references to any of these myths.

3. The operator symbol, a defining symbol in Marble Hornets's arc has appeared in neither of the notebooks associated with Just Another Fool.

4. J has not acknowledged anything involving JAF on his twitter or YouTube PMs.

There will be certain similarities because both stories are about the Slender Man, so trees, fog, water, and the fear of being watched will feature heavily in all these stories. Because the story must be related to us for a long period of time, there will be some sort of obsession involved on the part of at least one of the characters in each, and Slender Man will be more of a watcher than an immediate threat (as he has been in some of the other stories seen on the original SA thread). But in spite of these similarities, there are some strong indicators that these are two different stories, so acting like what we learn from one story will necessarily be applicable to another, or that they are necessarily two parts of the same story only serves to muddy the facts and make it more difficult to discern what's actually taking place in both stories.

Numbers

Just wondering if anyone has taken IGDRUAISILL and tried to make out another phone number? I've tried but I just want to see if anyone wanted to give a crack at it.

If using a dial pad you come up with 44378247455. One too many letters to be a phone number.
