Spectrin are an investigative agency which appear to have been around for several hundred years working on strange cases.

"Sara at Spectrin" refers to Sara Kingsly who is one of the board of directors. She's located located at the Peabody, Ma office.

The women seen in the Ditch the Tech videos looks very similar to Alex Dawson, and this is mentioned to her via Twitter, which spooks her out, however she does address it on her blog.

The Creation Floor plans were finalized on 10/11/2007. Initial build work completed 07/04/2009.

Koji is currently installing testing equipment in each room.

DESIGN:

- The floor is sectioned into 8 - each section holds 16 chambers.
- Each Chamber holds an imprint chair.
- Each imprint chair is networked via IO back to the Rossum WAN.

PURPOSE:

- Testing ability to imprint longer term whilst Subjects captive
- Research effects of multiple switchable imprints (held in Subject at same time). This has proven to be detrimental to Subjects in previous House tests, however this research could be profitable to The Group.

Update Goal for Creation:
In early 2009, "Alpha" from the LA House appeared to remotely wipe an Active. This site is currently researching how this occurred - as the tech is seen as a valuable asset to The Group.

I'll forward you several e-mails I received today, which explain these in greater detail. Note particularly Ella's messages and the information on Alex Dawson, whom they believe to be the same person as the one sending the videos. If this is indeed the case and these messages date from 2019, please check with Tom on the likelihood and also the logistics of replying. I have contacted Alex on Twitter and offered to meet her tomorrow morning. She is reluctant and frightened.

Rossum appears to have a presence in both Akranes and Tucson. They also (based on what I've seen on their intranet) seem to be doing experiments with altering memory and perhaps personality. I'm starting to think that the cases of possession are in fact mind alterations via neuroscientific means. Of course, this actually makes it more sinister and more difficult to counteract.

I'm also considering that it was not the stave that helped those men recover, but rather the properties of some of the tattoo ink ingredients. But if that is the case, then why did only two of them recover? What made those two different? You will notice the second site lists a recipe that is identical to the ink recipe I recorded in Akranes. I was told the last ingredient was 'heiti'. I am at a loss as to what this ingredient might be, as there is no mention of it in the usual literature.

Lastly, one of the photos on the Rossum site shows a door with the number 59002. We will need to discuss this in person. Please pull the files on that case.

Your encounter with her unnerved her quite a bit. Did you happen to recognize her companion? He, frankly, seems suspicious to me and several of the "Twitterites" who are concerned about her.

In addition to hoping this finds you safely in Arizona, I was reading your biography on the Spectrin website and about all of your accomplishments. I hope your screenplay is going well. The bio mentioned that your doctoral work was mentioned in The Phenomenon of Man, which was published in 1955 after the death of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, but actually finished in the 1930's. From the photograph on the website, which admittedly could be an old one, I wouldn't put you over 30. Perhaps one of your cases involved the Fountain of Youth?!

Anyway, it's not a big deal, just a curiousity I noticed while fidgeting around waiting for input, trying to make sense of this admittedly odd situation. I sincerely appreciate your willingness to keep me in the loop thus far.

The ditch the tech website was also updated today with video #3.

Confirmation details within the video for us to verify with Alex.

She ripped the ribbon on one of the shoes that Matt bought her, and she never told him.

I asked Alex about it and she started to freak out, confirming the info in the video.
She is going to email me, and I will tell her about the new video.

At the end of 2009, Rossum hired me to head their PR department. They gave me a cushy corner office which I only saw twice. After that, I was sent off on a business trip in Arizona. I never came back. They wiped my mind and made me someone else. A woman by the name of Sara Kingsley found me a year later. She placed a tattoo on the back of my neck and which helped me slowly recover myself. I was never the same. Rossum scientists wipe people's minds. They turn them into living dolls, then sell them for the night, for the week. Soon they'll figure out a way to sell them forever. They can do this to you, to me, to anyone. Sara has been working on a cure but she hasn't figured it out yet. You have to help her find it before it's too late. Find it before this starts. Ten years ago, my boyfriend's name was Matt, He bought me beautiful shoes and just before a big date, I broke the ribbon on the back of one. I never told anyone. That's why I asked.

I just finished speaking to Alex after moving accomodations once again. She appears to be resting and enjoying the company of Robert's family. In regard to their safety, I believe that since Alex shows none of the usual signs of "possession" or being a wholly different person, she has not been imprinted. May has insisted on washing (inspecting) her clothes and also purchased some new garments, so we are relatively sure that Alex is not carrying any bugs.
Based on the helpful tips provided by Twitterites, I was able to locate the [RCorp] branch in Tucson. It appears to possibly be their headquarters, though unlike other offices, it bears no logo on the outside. There is, however, still no sign of the Technical Institute. Having said that, I observed a large ruined building nearby that could have been a school, instutute, labs, or similar. Currently, there is only fenced-off rubble and some new construction on the side.
I have asked Alex and Bobby to attempt recovery of the passwords to [RCorp's] intranet so that we can peruse the content associated with the Tucson branch. I will keep you updated as much as I safely can.

After emailing Alex to check in with her and make sure she is ok I received the following email:

I tried calling him - no answer. Liz isn't answering either. I feel so scared and alone. Do you think I should fly home? What would I tell my mom?
Sorry I sound like a freak Sad Thanks again, you're so nice!

I then remembered about my security question, so I sent her an email later that day, to which she responded:

I don't know what happened with Matt. We met and I told him about the video and he was soooo nice and supportive, told me he wouldn't leave my side, that nothing would happen to me. We never took that carriage ride, just stopped at a bar where I had a glass of wine, then started crying so he took me to his place. Then I had another glass of wine. Then I think I was crying and he held me. Then we made love and right after he got up (to go to the bathroom I think) and said, I'm so sorry, Alex. And I wanted to ask him why? Maybe it was all too fast, you know? But I fell asleep and then when I woke up I was back at my apartment on the couch, and I tried calling him to apologize if I'd behaved badly or was too pathetic, but no answer. I've left, like, 6 messages. Starting to think he's just one of those guys who wants the conquest. Don't know anything Sad
Have to get dressed and meet the Robert guy. I promised Ella and I promise you, I'll tweet and blog as soon as I've calmed down and know what's going on. It sucks to feel so scared and alone, and my back hurts like a car ran over me.

Later that night she updated her blog, with the events of the day:

I hope my mom & friends don't read this. They don't seem to check the blog and now it's really for the better. Everything has gone haywire. I have no clue what's happening and keep wishing I'd just wake up!

Yesterday, right before the end of work the CTPs (who are mostly really nice now) started all of a sudden to ask me about the new shoes and whether I'd broken the ribbon of one. I did � on Thursday morning when I was trying them on because I was eager to figure out what I should wear for the Friday date � but I hadn't told *anyone* at all. So, that freaked me out good and proper. Then someone sent me a link to a new "ditch the tech" video with me talking about being wounded and some stuff about the Sara lady and loving her and having my mind wiped by Rossum, and then somebody shot me. I mean, her � the me from the future. I got so upset I thought I was going to throw up. My knees were shaking. I just left the office and got in a cab and told them to take me to Central Park where I was supposed to meet Matt.

So much for getting dressed up and all the big date excitement! I got there early, and just sat on a bench, and stared at the traffic and all the people going in and out of the Plaza, and I so desperately wished I could be any one of them � just not me.

Then Matt showed up. He was carrying flowers again, but when he saw me, he immediately understood something was wrong, so he just scooped me up and held me tight and petted my hair. Then we left the park and the carriages and slowly walked to the first nearby restaurant and sat at the bar and he ordered me a glass of wine so I could calm down and start speaking again.

I told him about the video, about seeing myself die, about how the person in the video knew I'd broken the ribbon, which possibly means that everything they're saying is true. And, oh my God, I still can't wrap my mind around the meaning of all that!

Matt got really quiet, then he held my hand and told me that he won't let anything bad happen to me, that I need to trust him, and he won't leave my side. I started crying again, so he put my coat on and gently took me outside. We walked just a few blocks and then we were at his building. He'd never taken me to his apartment before, though I knew he lived somewhere close to the park. Inside, it was more of a loft: very bare and eclectic, with a lot of dark antiques and it felt so very posh and effortless that I just wanted to stay there and never leave.

He poured me another glass of wine, we talked some more, and he was assuring me we'd get to the bottom of everything together. Then we were kissing, and I started crying, and he shushed me and led me to his bedroom.

Maybe I came across as too easy or too pathetic, I don't know. Afterward, he got up and said something about being sorry. I wanted to ask him why he was sorry, but drifted off before I could get the words out.

When I woke up I was on the couch at my place, fully clothed. For a long moment I thought it had all been a dream, but my back hurt horribly and I felt disoriented, and I'm afraid it was all real and that I got my heart broken. I tried calling him and left six messages (pathetic, I know!), but no answer. I also called Liz and texted her and she hasn't replied either.

I think you know the rest: Robert Hunter, who is apparently Sara Kingsley's colleague or boss contacted me and asked me to meet him. I am now at his place, where his sweet wife May made me tea and let me use her laptop. They have two very well-behaved children. They've offered me to stay with them until all this gets sorted out. Robert will take me back downtown to pack a few things, then I'll talk to Sara tonight on the phone and figure out what to do.

Thanks to all of you for caring and looking in on me. I keep wanting to give up, because if all this horrible stuff is going to really happen anyway, then what's the point of trying to fight it? But the videos said we could make a difference and that we should help Sara, so maybe that's the next thing I have to do. I don't know. I don't know anything.

Sunday morning tweet update from Sara:

MJinMichigan then emailed Sara asking if there was a way we could get access to the case files for 59002:

Though I know we (the Twitterites) are not paying clients, I wonder if there is any possibility for opening a case for Alex and receiving a client login on the Spectrin website where we can coordinate our notes on the case. This would leave us less visible to the prying eyes of Rossum.

Then Saras update started to worry us:

Neither Robert nor I can locate him and the airline insists that the flight departed without him. We are all rather distraught. This has once again derailed my attempts to find the Technical Institute.
Robert and Alex have decided that she should take the risk of going into work tomorrow in an attempt to acquire any Rossum-related documents that her firm might possess, as well as possible access to their intranet. This is quite risky, but appears to be our best course of action. Alex is rather insistent on joining me here. Given the current situation with Tom, I am not certain that will be safe. On the other hand, I would rather have her in my sight than thousands of miles away.

Later that evening I received an update from Alex, who was now in the capable hands of Robert Hunter and his Family, who is also a colleague of Sara Kingsleys:

We learn that SPectrin employees decide that Alex should attempt to go back to work:

I managed to escape the near-accident and returned to the hotel with the van still at my back. I then left through the kitchen access at the the hotel restaurant with just my computer and documentation. Currently using an internet cafe's network to do some research and get in touch with Bobby. We're fearing the worst in regard to Tom. Bobby is adamant that I should return to NY, but flying undetected will be a challenge. I also hate giving up.
Will continue to be in touch as best as I can. Have to find new accomodations first.

In an attempt to try and find a way into Rossum, Sara was contacted with an Idea for some of us to work for Rossum, this was her response:

MJ then received the following email, which made us believe we should be weary of our public communication:

I took a look at the site with the login and password you provided. The list of targets is chilling and the fact that Tom has been crossed out, while not surprising, has very much affected me.
The second memo countains an image of the debris I saw and mentioned before. This confirms my suspicion that the Technical Insititute either was at this spot or is currently located underneath it. It also strengthens my resolve to stay and find whatever there is to uncover.
I checked Alex' tweets and am relieved that she and the Hunter family were departing for safer quarters. I have sent out a message to our colleague Paul and asked for his assitance. Unfortunately, he is currently in Nepal, so it may be days, weeks, or even longer before he has access to technology. In some ways, I suppose this is for the better.
I do not know the other names on the list, however William(?) Morley brings up a faint recollection. I will meditate and try to gather more details. I am currently at a motel, which provides greater anonymity. Computer access is tenuous at best, but I will attempt to set up an account on Spectrin for you and the others tomorrow. Please be aware, however, that any one of Twitterites may be conveying information to Rossum. It would be foolish of the corporation not to gather intelligence in this manner, and I think we can agree that they are anything but fools.

Nov 24:

We learn via Twitter that Rossum sent Alex a job offer:

I contacted Alex asking her if she could possibly send me the details of the job offer:

I just asked Robert about William Morley. He said he knows who it is
and that he has already gotten "a word out to him".

He also said that he's scanning parts of some numbered file, so he and
Sara can make that available to you guys.
Sara is OK - he spoke to her an hour ago. She seems to have ditched
the black van for now and went to the site with all the rubble but
there were lots of SUVs. She spent the afternoon trying to get ahold
of someone in Iceland. Something about some recipe, but I don't know
for what.

Anyway, here's the job offer letter I received. The subject line was:
Please confirm!

The message said "Dear Alex, we have received a call on your behalf in
reply to our call this morning. Please review the attached letter and
confirm. It would be a pleasure to have you on our team."

There was no signature. Also, I did NOT call them at all.

Bobby had details on William Morley. He is currently an old man in a
nursing home. He had some unfortunate involvement with the open case
from 1962. Bobby believes that the other two persons may have
knowledge in that regard as well, however we do not have contact
information for them.
Bobby has spoken to William, but given the advanced age of the latter,
there is little we can do. Bobby is sending a bodyguard to the nursing
home, though I believe that is mostly to assuage his own conscience.
We have discussed how much information to share with the Twitterites
and have agreed that in this case password-protection won't mean much,
since we have no way of vetting who receives the password.
Nonetheless, I have asked Bobby to scan some of the information in
file #59002 and set up a log in for the Twitterites. He is about to
fly his family to an undisclosed location, after which he will fly
himself and Alex to Tucson.
I will be in touch again, as much as prudent.

I have just learned that William Morley passed away last night of a
heart attack. While his advanced age (he was 84) makes this
development likely, I cannot help but find the timing suspicious.

I expect to meet Bobby and Alex today. I have also learned that there
was a large explosion at the debris site. This was said to me in
passing by a grocery store cashier when I asked offhandedly why no
one's cleaning up "all that mess" a block from the store. Her answer
was "Oh, you mean the explosion site? The city can't touch it. I don't
know why they can't just take them to court, it's an eyesore." Then
she whispered "It was terrorists, they say". When I asked who "they"
were, she pulled away and finished processing my purchase, then wished
me a good evening.

Lastly, thank you and the other Twitterites for informing me of the
rose hip image. I believe it is related to a rose that must grow in
Iceland. I have been trying to reach the old lady (Eva) who gave me
the original recipe and confer with her. If we can ascertain the
ingredient, I will request that she expedite some samples to me.

Bobby should be getting in touch with you today as well, probably
after he lands.
