I'd have to agree with the bathed in constant light argument. I'd be ass-deep in light generating items, from glow sticks to light bulbs.

I guess if you wanted an IG rationale it could be so he doesn't hurt his night vision. If he's sitting in the dark he can see in the dark better than if he was in the the light and it suddenly went dark, or he went outside.

 		... Yeah, I thought it was pretty obvious that that was J in Entry #17.

Also, as for the darkness, I just assumed it was so that nobody could see inside, in case Masky/Slendy was lurking outside.

Also, lol, still no confirmation Masky was outside the window during Entry #19. I really don't think he was. For the most part, they tend to make it pretty obvious if someone else is in the shot.

I'm pretty sure he just wanted to save #20 for a real Entry. This was informative and all, but I don't think it deserves the big 2-0.

Do we know so far about any tower??

What is most important: J fails at saying that the "O crossed" symbol doesn't appear in any other entry. It does appear and also, it is related to the "Operator" (remember Alex's drawings).

Also, blueshoe's video has a new one, dunno if it's cannon and if it can be related to this "tower" thing.

I thing that the only "tower" thingie we've seen so far is the red climbing wall on the scouting session Alex and Jay had at the forest or something.

I would put an IG reason to be, he is locked in his room of his apartment or where he lives, and not out working, so he can't pay his electricity bills so they shut off his power, but his new obsession has lead him to not care. That is my interpretation, at least.
