Hello, I am looking for a couple experienced PMs to bounce a story idea off of that I have been putting together for the last month or so. I have the large parts all fleshed out I just wanted some input and opinions. I also won't have the resources (actors) to pull this off how I would like, so if you are interested in running with my story you are more then welcome to it. Hi! I'm Bixy-Rose (or just Rose), and I'm a long-time lurker in the ARG arena, though I've only been involved in a couple active games, and have never posted on the forums here. I am not looking to run a game, but would like to be part of the BTS team for one or a few. Smile

Here are the skills/uses I can provide:

-actor (for video/audio/photographic roles, or just being behind the keyboard)
-a video camera, and woods behind my house
-basic photo editing
-basic audio editing
-writing
-working knowledge of blogging/social networking sites (facebook, twitter, livejournal, etc.)
-LOTS of free time
-LOTS of enthusiasm

I am off work with nothing to do until I go back on Jan 4th, which I will then be available in the evenings and weekends.

Played: Wyoming Incident - I'm Sorry - Groundhog (just finished) - plus a ton of others. I love jumping in on trailheads and trying to figure it all out.

I'm a non-traditional student at a small state college in Indiana.

Played - currently playing Aguatero Industries. Lurked a handful of others. Read: No much experience.

PMed - None. Just now taking the first steps towards running a small scale ARG on campus in the fall of '10

Skills -
I've run 100+ player LARPs, as well as 250+ player games of Humans Vs. Zombies. I know how to organize players and dev team members alike, get the game run on time and on budget.
Rudimentary HTML, Graphics.
Moderate 3D modeling and animation
I'm a full time videographer and TCOM student. Video and Audio are my bread and butter.
I can do some acting, and have a pretty solid voice for voice acting.

I've never been on the creation side of one of these but I'll throw my skillz out here; even just helping minimally would be good experience for me. ^_^

-Writing/characterization (9+ years of experience)
-Decent actress
-Some basic image manipulation
-Poetry, riddles
-Good at staying in-character
-Proof-reading
-Experience with theatre, makeup, costuming
-Good at forging different handwriting/notes/letters
-some artistic experience
-basic video editing abilities
-research
-access to a father with recording equipment and musical instruments; I personally can sing
-for other people who might be able to help: my mother is a nurse, my younger sister is good at acting a preteen character and at singing, my brother has some computer skills that might come in handy, and my boyfriend has access to props that might be useful such as swords, knives, and costumes

CONS
-unlike many of the other people here, don't have coding experience.

Hi, I've never worked on an ARG but I really would love to work on one with someone.

- Story Writing, I have some fairly good experience coming up with plots from working as a GM for tabletop and live-action role-play games.

- Excellent research skills.

- Great computer skills.

- Pretty good flash skills.

- Great video and audio manipulating skills with access to professional level software.

- A great professional level camera.

- Professional video production experience.

- Some HTML and website design experience.

- Photo manipulation experience.

- Acting as well.

I've always loved the idea of ARGs and for some reason decided just now to try to get onboard a team to help create one. I've got lots of free time.

Hi, it's my first time posting, but i've been lurking around for a while Smile

I've been interested in ARGs for quite some time, but i have never actually joined any (at least, i have not been part of a community yet), i like following the games, and even try to solve puzzles on my own sometimes. So, as you can see i'm not very experienced, but i got the curiosity of making my own ARG, i even had some ideas (i was thinking of making one in spanish), but i thought it would be better if i got involved in other people's ARGs first and gain some more experience.

-I'm a Graphic Designer, so i can work Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks and even a little of Flash
-I'm good at drawing and i like photography. Examples of some of my works (that DA account is a little old though, the pictures there does not reflect my current skills, but it gives you a little hint about them)
-I can design the layout for websites in fireworks, but i'm not that good at scripting them (Very VERY basic HTML and CSS knowledge)
-I like writing stories, but I'm not that fluent in english Embarassed

I understand written english almost perfectly though ( I guess you can say my english level is "Advanced" but not yet "Fluent")

Other things to consider:
-I work, so i would not be available 24hrs a day.
- I'm not good with horror and very graphical gore (i'm a chicken... Laughing

)

Update! It's summer, so I'm back in the PM (or trailhead) market. I've run/helped with a couple of ARGs in the past that were moderately successful and I've been around uF a while.

I've been here long enough that I figured I might as well actually post here once in a while.

Location: New Jersey about 20 minute drive from NYC.

My skills are as follows:
*I have a completely warped and unusual imagination
*I have a degree in graphic design. I prefer to do anything EXCEPT web design. I have the ability to do it just not the desire.
*I've got some pretty good writing skills
*I LOVE doing research
*I wanted to be a spy when I was younger so I've got extensive knowledge of codes/ciphers--I used to pass notes in elementary school written in cipher so the teacher couldn't read them out loud if she found them Wink

*My daughter calls me a destroyer of dreams because I'm very good at finding potential problems/ plot holes
*Chronic insomnia so I'm at the computer close to 20 hours a day
