It's hinted that Sarah got owned by Slendy, but that's questionable, as Alex said Tim also got owned, but it wasn't very long ago that Jay was asking Tim questions about Alex.

I have a theory that she's going to become a player in the game at some point. If she was indeed a part of what happened three years ago, then she may get re-involved soon.

Tim and Brian were both main characters in the movie, and now one's missing and the other may or may not be a creeper in a mask hiding in a rundown shack. Alex was the director, and he's also missing (or, as some may point out, may also be the creeper in the mask; however, more and more I start to see this as unlikely).

Slender Man seems to be preying more on the major players in the movie. Since Sarah was the female lead, there is a possibility that either Jay goes to see her, or she gets dragged in some other way, assuming that she's not "gone" as Alex said she was (which is a whole other topic in itself)

This is all pure speculation, of course.

You know what? That'd be pretty cool. Seeing some resolution about where everyone went would be really satisfying. If not, maybe we'll find out once the series is over? (Providing, of course, if they're willing to be bombarded by questions. XD)

I'm on the fence about whether I think she'll actually show up again. I have a feeling that she won't, but that's more because she didn't seem to fit as well, out of character. XD Like maybe she was a friend that was helping and then for some reason was unavailable or didn't want to participate anymore? Given that's all assumptions, it probably as no bearing on what will actually play out. I hope you're right, though. Seeing her have a role again would be pretty neat (and also kind of appealing because having ANY female characters at all is nice to see from a female fan's point of view. X3)

I have to think that the story has been limited by the efforts of the actors playing the people in it.

I grew up with a guy who did horror movies on super 8, and they all starred guys (both for the heroes and the monsters) because none of his female friends wanted to be in his movies.

So maybe the reason Sarah isn't in any of the later episodes is because the actress playing Sarah can't or won't appear in them.

I don't think that's it... if it were just that the actress is unavailable, they could easily come up with an in-story explanation for why she hasn't been around. J could go looking for her as well, but not find her, just like with Brian.

Nah, they're saving her for some reason... something special.

At the end of tape #22, when Alex is talking about not remembering anything, he says, "Seth is gone. I don't remember what happened, we were the only two left. And I left him. Brian is gone. (We can't really agree on what he says here. Tim? Or town?) Jay, and Sarah. Everyone is gone..."

Time lapse theory? Did they just leave the production, leaving him alone? Seth is apparently 'gone' gone, Jay doesn't seem to have actually vanished, because even if he's 'left' and lost his memory, someone presumably would have mentioned it to him.

There's an interesting argument for the time weirdness in that bit.

I believe some have theorised that, due to Jay (who had several encounters with Slenderman, according to the tapes) not recalling the events of certain tapes, when he says "gone," he means "they have lost enough memories to not 'be themselves'."

But it could go either way, since the wording is quite ambiguous XD

'Gone' could also mean that Alex simply no longer considers them trust-worthy. No longer safe to turn to.
