Just so you know, pretty much everything by The Prize Fighter Inferno is credited to Coheed and Cambria, simply because its Claudio Sanchez's solo side project. Some people get confused and just think it's C&C.

Also, hey guys, thinking of getting in on this one. What would be the best way to jump in here?

If they want to call me an idiot, let them. I have a funny feeling most of us here are infinitely smarter than the PMs, considering the fact that most of us TRIED the password he gave us long before he gave it to us - and the fact that we figured out pretty quickly that the file was supposed to be stegged and was broken in the process. Hell, to verify that I even ripped the file apart with a hex editor looking for zip headers, to no avail.

That's like calling someone with a doctorate in mathematics a moron and showing them, proudly, the 82 you got on your intro to algebra final. Way to go!

I'm going to go back to lurking. If anything comes of this, someone feel free to let me know. Or if anything involving encryption comes down the pipeline, I'm happy to help. But I don't feel like being insulted when the PMs fuck up and don't realize it, even after we make it clear that they did.

I'm about ready to set my phasers from "solve" to "lurk" as well. I get the feeling the PMs lost sight of their own game, we haven't had any solid contact in two or more weeks, not like in the beginning, and I feel like the game has already fallen apart.

now i feel bad for saying that it was too low. but in my defense i can't get ever get audio programs to work for me. -_-;

but yeah. i'm pretty sure that it says chaos at the end.

i think i'll try to contact John and see if he's not too peeved at me to let me help..

dont feel bad about it. it was hard for all of us to hear. this pm has tried to make us feel stupid before.
