This to me sounds like some time flux thing or something. Saying that time (or whatever its supposed to be referencing) doesn't always follow the natural order. What I got from the 'skips steps' and 'widdershin' parts anyway.

Then again, i'm probably looking far too deep into this again Razz

Where did this line come from anyway?

If we're supposed to be looking for things in the video where we may be skipping frames (going widdershin) perhaps that obvious glitch in the video is some sort of marker. At 3:30 the word "camcorder" is repeated. Am I going way too into this?

I think it's a necklace/locket almost for sure now. She has the same black cord around her neck in the first video she ever posted, talking about her new account. You can tell she's playing with something off screen - it must be the same thing.

And yeah, we're probably obsessing over this and it's nothing. Embarassed

Yeah, Dawn, it's the opposite when played backwards (surprise, lol). It starts out reeeeeally quiet, but then you hear the loud part and it gradually comes back down until you reach the beginning of the video.

But I don't know what it is. It sounds like growls, or even screams a little bit when played backwards. But this doesn't really help us considering they aren't words or anything.

I'm gonna keep saying this to everyone, though, if you have any means of messing with the audio, please do so. I'm really new and really bad at this. I just used a free software called Audacity to record the audio from the video and then flipped it (if you try it, it's in Effects --> Reverse).

Listened to the audio and gotten nothing that you guys haven't already found. Until Donna replies we don't really have a lot we can work with.

She said she had no work today (in the video last night.) so she may be sleeping in - or away. Iunno.

@Nova :
I used Wavpad to slow it down - just because that's what I had sitting around, but I downloaded Audacity and I'm going to play around with it on there - changing pitch and stuff to see if I can make it any clearer.

Most I've done with programs like these is cut down songs for videos... so I'm not the best, but, I'm sure working together we can find something Very Happy

Well, she's probably sleeping or just not on her computer. The weather up in this neck of the woods was pretty bad today. We had tons of accidents this morning. Weirdest part? Didn't even snow. It just rained late last night then when the temperature quickly dropped it all froze over. It's fine now, thankfully.

Ah right, I forgot not everyone sweats their ass off when they walk out the door in December. In my area - south Florida, sorta near Miami and Ft.Lauderdale - we had 'record breaking December temperatures' the other day...

I emailed her and asked if she heard strange noises in the video after she uploaded it. From the video description: "I thought I heard something when I rewatched it, but I get weird audio feedback sometimes." I'm pretty sure if I uploaded a video and watched it and heard loud growling noises there would be no "I thought I heard..."; it would be "OMFG WHAT WAS THAT?". Guess I'm just wondering if it's possible her youtube account is compromised or will be in the near future. Like, someone or something corrupting her videos after she uploads them.

@pantico - Great work! Might tie in to the blog post about "find her".

@Nova - we're still getting that where I'm at. Freezing rain and freezing temps, which is why I'm not working and doing this all morning Wink

I think its safe to say that whoever's messing with Donna's accounts isn't trying to hinder us, but rather help us. We now have 2 people we need to identify, this mysterious helper, and TEC.

Telos, if you can filter out voices in Audacity, could you give that sped up TEC is coming MP3 a try? I can definitely hear something but it's hard to make out.
